whom i would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
ဧဝံဂေလီတရားကြောင့် ချည်နှောင်ခြင်းကို ငါခံစဉ်တွင်၊ သူသည် သင်၏ ကိုယ်စားငါ့ကို ပြုစုစေမည် အကြောင်း၊ သူ့ကို ငါထားချင်သော်လည်း၊

whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
အကြင်သူ၏အပြစ်ကို သင်တို့လွှတ်လျှင်၊ ထိုသူသည် အပြစ်လွှတ်လျက်ရှိ၏။ အကြင်သူ၏အပြစ်ကို သင်တို့တည်စေလျှင်၊ ထိုသူသည် အပြစ်တည်လျက်ရှိ၏ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

therefore i was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and i retained no strength.
ငါမူကား၊ တယောက်တည်းနေရစ်၍ ထိုကြီးစွာ သော ရူပါရုံကိုမြင်ရလျှင်၊ ခွန်အားလျော့၍ မျက်နှာပျက် လျက်၊ ကိုယ်၌ အစွမ်းသတ္တိအလျှင်းမရှိ ဖြစ်လေ၏။

and his father in law, the damsel's father, retained him; and he abode with him three days: so they did eat and drink, and lodged there.
ထိုကြောင့် သမက်သည် စားသောက်လျက်၊ အိပ်လျက်၊ သုံးရက်ပတ်လုံး ယောက္ခမအိမ်၌ နေ၏။

and, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then i opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, o my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and i have retained no strength.
ထိုအခါ လူသား၏ သဏ္ဌာန်ရှိသော သူတဦး သည် ငါ့နှုတ်ကို လက်နှင့်တို့လျှင်၊ ငါသည်နှုတ်ကို ဖွင့်၍ ပြောရသောအခွင့်ကို ရပြီးလျှင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်၊ ဗျာဒိတ်ရူပါရုံကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ပြင်းစွာသော ဝေဒနာကို ခံရ၍၊ ကိုယ်၌ ခွန်အားအလျှင်းမရှိပါ။
