then certain of the scribes answering said, master, thou hast well said.
Օրէնսգէտներից ոմանք նրան պատասխանեցին եւ ասացին. «Վարդապե՛տ, լա՛ւ ասացիր»:

and jesus answering said unto them, the children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
Յիսուս պատասխանեց նրանց եւ ասաց. «Այս աշխարհի որդիները կին են առնում եւ մարդու են գնում.

and jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and pharisees, saying, is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?
Յիսուս պատասխանեց օրէնսգէտներին ու փարիսեցիներին եւ ասաց. «Շաբաթ օրով բժշկելը օրինաւո՞ր է, թէ՞՝ ոչ»:

and he answering said unto him, lord, let it alone this year also, till i shall dig about it, and dung it:
Այգեգործը պատասխանեց եւ ասաց. «Տէ՛ր իմ, նրան այս տարի էլ թո՛ղ, մինչեւ որ նրա շուրջը փորեմ եւ աղբ գցեմ.

and jesus answering said unto him, suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. then he suffered him.
Յիսուս պատասխանեց եւ ասաց նրան. «Թո՛յլ տուր հիմա, որովհետեւ այսպէս վայել է, որ մենք կատարենք Աստծու ամէն արդարութիւն»: Եւ ապա նրան թոյլ տուեց:

and jesus answering said, o faithless and perverse generation, how long shall i be with you, and suffer you? bring thy son hither.
Յիսուս պատասխանեց եւ ասաց. «Ո՛վ անհաւատ եւ մոլորուած սերունդ, մինչեւ ե՞րբ ձեզ հետ պիտի լինեմ եւ ձեզ հանդուրժեմ. բե՛ր այստեղ քո որդուն»:

and jesus answering said unto him, seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Յիսուս նրան պատասխան տուեց եւ ասաց. «Տեսնո՞ւմ ես այդ բոլոր շինութիւնները. ճշմարիտ եմ ասում ձեզ, որ դրանց քարը քարի վրայ չպիտի թողնուի, որ չքանդուի»:

and the angel answering said unto him, i am gabriel, that stand in the presence of god; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
Հրեշտակը նրան պատասխանեց եւ ասաց. «Ես Գաբրիէլն եմ, որ կանգնում եմ Աստծու առաջ. ես ուղարկուեցի խօսելու քեզ հետ եւ այդ բանը քեզ աւետելու:

and the one of them, whose name was cleopas, answering said unto him, art thou only a stranger in jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass therein these days?
Նրանցից մէկը, որի անունը Կղէոպաս էր, ասաց նրան. «Երուսաղէմում միայն դո՛ւ ես, որ չես իմացել, թէ ինչեր կատարուեցին այնտեղ այս օրերին»:

and he answering said, thou shalt love the lord thy god with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Սա պատասխանեց եւ ասաց. «Պիտի սիրես քո Տէր Աստծուն քո ամբողջ սրտով եւ քո ամբողջ հոգով եւ քո ամբողջ զօրութեամբ եւ քո ամբողջ մտքով. եւ պիտի սիրես քո ընկերոջը, ինչպէս քո անձը»:

and he answering said to his father, lo, these many years do i serve thee, neither transgressed i at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that i might make merry with my friends:
Որդին պատասխանեց եւ ասաց հօրը. «Այս քանի՜ տարի է, որ ծառայում եմ քեզ եւ երբեք քո հրամանները զանց չեմ արել. ինձ երբեք մի ուլ չտուիր, որ բարեկամներիս հետ ուրախութիւն անէի:
