lalle ne yãjũja da majũja mãsu ɓarna ne a cikin ƙasa.

and what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is?
kuma me ya sanar da kai abin da ake ce wa huɗama?

and we delivered them and their people from the terrible disaster.
kuma muka tsĩrar da su da mutãnensu daga bakin ciki mai girma.

nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster,
a'aha! lalle ne zã a jẽfa shi a cikin huɗama.

for we sent against them a furious wind, on a day of violent disaster,
lalle mũ, mun aika da iska mai tsananin sauti a kansu, a cikin wani yinin nahĩsa mai dõgẽwa.

the tribes of thamud and 'ad denied that disaster would strike them:
samũdãwa da Ãdãwa sun ƙaryatar da kiran gaskiya mai dũkar zũciya!

we answered the prayer of noah who had prayed to us before and saved him and his followers from the great disaster.
kuma nũhu, a sa'ad da ya yi kira a gabãni, sai muka karɓa masa, sa'an nan muka tsirar da shi da mutãnensa daga baƙin ciki mai girma.

if a lucky chance befall you, it is evil unto them, and if disaster strike you they rejoice thereat.
idan wani alhẽri ya shãfe ku sai ya baƙanta musu rai, kuma idan wata cũtar ta shãfe ku sai su yi farin ciki da ita.

kuma nũhu, a sa'ad da ya yi kira a gabãni, sai muka karɓa masa, sa'an nan muka tsirar da shi da mutãnensa daga baƙin ciki mai girma.

truly i do fear for you something like the day (of disaster) of the confederates (in sin)!-
lallene, nĩ, inã yi muku tsõron kwatankwacin rãnar ƙungiyõyi."

otherwise, if some disaster befell them because of what their own hands have sent forward they would say, “our lord!
kuma bã dõmin wata masĩfa ta sãme su ba sabõda abin da hannayensu suka gabãtar, su ce: "yã ubangijinmu!

as for those who disbelieve, disaster ceaseth not to strike them because of what they do, or it dwelleth near their home until the threat of allah come to pass.
kuma waɗanda suka yi kãfirci ba zã su gushe ba wata masĩfa tanã samun su sabõda abin da suka aikata, kõ kuwa ka saukã kusa da gidãjẽnsu, har wa'adin allah ya zo.

as for those who disbelieve, because of what they do, disaster will not cease to afflict them, or it alights near their home until the promise of allah comes.
kuma waɗanda suka yi kãfirci ba zã su gushe ba wata masĩfa tanã samun su sabõda abin da suka aikata, kõ kuwa ka saukã kusa da gidãjẽnsu, har wa'adin allah ya zo.

naught of disaster befalleth in the earth or in yourselves but it is in a book before we bring it into being - lo! that is easy for allah -
wata masifa bã zã ta auku ba a cikin ƙasã kõ a cikin rayukanku fãce tanã a cikin littãfi a gabãnin mu halitta ta. lalle wannan, ga allah, mai sauƙi ne.

how about when a disaster strikes them because what their hands have put forward, and then they come to you swearing by god: “we only intended goodwill and reconciliation”?
to, yaya, idan wata masĩfa ta sãme su, sabõda abin da hannuwansu suka gabãtar sa'an nan kuma su je maka sunã rantsuwa da allah cẽwa, "ba mu yi nufin kõme ba sai kyautatawa da daidaitãwa."?

lo! among you there is he who loitereth; and if disaster overtook you, he would say: allah hath been gracious unto me since i was not present with them.
kuma lalle ne daga cikinku akwai mai fãsarwa. to idan wata masĩfa ta sãme ku, sai ya ce: "lalle ne, allah ya yi mini ni'ima dõmin ban kasance mahalarci tãre da su ba."

so we sent against them a furious wind through days of disaster, that we might give them a taste of a penalty of humiliation in this life; but the penalty of a hereafter will be more humiliating still: and they will find no help.
sai muka aika, a kansu, da iska mai tsananin sauti da sanyi, a cikin kwãnuka na shu'umci, dõmin mu ɗanɗana musu azãbar wulãƙanci, a cikin rãyuwar dũniya, kuma lalle azãbar lãhira ita ce mafi wulãƙantarwa, kuma sũ bã zã a taimake su ba.
