and mention thou in the book musa: verily he was single- hearted, and was an apostle, prophet.
kuma ka ambaci mũsã a cikin littãfi. lalle ne shi, yã kasance zãɓaɓɓe, kuma yã kasance manzo, annabi.

thus we did, in order that we might avert from him all evil and indecency; verily he was of our bondmen single-hearted.
kãmar haka dai, dõmin mu karkatar da mummũnan aiki da alfãsha daga gare shi. lalle ne shi, daga bãyinmu zaɓaɓɓu yake.

so, be not faint-hearted and do not cry for peace. you shall prevail. allah is with you and will not bring your works to nought.
sabõda haka kada ku yi rauni, kuma (kada) ku yi kira zũwaga sulhi alhãli kuwa kũ ne mafiɗaukaka kuma allah na tãre da ku, kuma bã, zai naƙasa muku ayyukanku ba.

so will he whose bosom allah has opened up for islam – he is therefore upon a light from his lord – ever be equal to one who is stone hearted?
shin fa, wanda allah ya buɗa ƙirjinsa, dõmin musulunci sa'an nan shi yanã a kan haske daga ubangijinsa, (zai zama kamar waninsa)?

is one whose heart allah has opened to islam, so that he has received enlightenment from allah, (no better than one hard-hearted)?
shin fa, wanda allah ya buɗa ƙirjinsa, dõmin musulunci sa'an nan shi yanã a kan haske daga ubangijinsa, (zai zama kamar waninsa)?

do not be weak hearted and do not appeal for an (unjust) settlement; you have the upper hand. god is with you and he will never reduce the reward for your deeds.
sabõda haka kada ku yi rauni, kuma (kada) ku yi kira zũwaga sulhi alhãli kuwa kũ ne mafiɗaukaka kuma allah na tãre da ku, kuma bã, zai naƙasa muku ayyukanku ba.

and abraham prayed for his father's forgiveness only because of a promise he had made to him. but when it became clear to him that he was an enemy to allah, he dissociated himself from him: for abraham was most tender-hearted, forbearing.
kuma istigifãrin ibrãhĩm ga ubansa bai kasance ba fãce sabõda wani wa'adi ne da ya ƙulla alƙawarinsa da shi, sa'an nan a lõkacin da ya bayyana a gare shi (ibrãhĩm) cẽwa lalle ne shĩ (ubansa) maƙiyi ne ga allah, sai ya barranta daga gare shi. lalle ne ibrahim, haƙĩƙa, mai yawan addu'a ne, mai haƙuri.
