और अगर ये बात न होती कि तुम पर ख़ुदा का फ़ज़ल और उसकी रहमत से और ये कि ख़ुदा बड़ा शफीक़ मेहरबान है

छोटी जाति में पैदा हुआ है तथा प्रेम और स्वार्थ विसर्जन से ईश्वरीय अनुकम्पा का पात्र बना है ।

say , “ have you considered ? if god ' s punishment descended on you suddenly or gradually , would any be destroyed except the wrongdoing people ? ”
कहो , " क्या तुमने यह भी सोचा कि यदि तुमपर अचानक या प्रत्यक्षतः अल्लाह की यातना आ जाए , तो क्या अत्याचारी लोगों के सिवा कोई और विनष्ट होगा ? "

god has provided mates for you of your own kind , and has bestowed on you sons and daughters from your mates , and has given you good things for food . will they even then believe in the false and deny god ' s grace ?
और ख़ुदा ही ने तुम्हारे लिए बीबियाँ तुम ही में से बनाई और उसी ने तुम्हारे वास्ते तुम्हारी बीवियों से बेटे और पोते पैदा किए और तुम्हें पाक व पाकीज़ा रोज़ी खाने को दी तो क्या ये लोग बिल्कुल बातिल पर ईमान रखते हैं और ख़ुदा की नेअमत इन्कार करते हैं

but if , by god ' s grace , good fortune should be your lot , they will say , " if only i had been with them i should have achieved a great success , " as if no affection had existed between you and them .
परन्तु यदि अल्लाह की ओर से तुमपर कोई उदार अनुग्रह हो तो वह इस प्रकार से जैसे तुम्हारे और उनके बीच प्रेम का कोई सम्बन्ध ही नहीं , कहता है , " क्या ही अच्छा होता कि मैं भी उनके साथ होता , तो बड़ी सफलता प्राप्त करता । "

he said , " no blame on you this day ; may god forgive you ! and he is the most merciful of those who show mercy .
यूसुफ ने कहा अब आज से तुम पर कुछ इल्ज़ाम नहीं ख़ुदा तुम्हारे गुनाह माफ फरमाए वह तो सबसे ज्यादा रहीम है ये मेरा कुर्ता ले जाओ

and were it not for allah ' s grace upon you and his mercy a party of them had certainly designed to bring you to perdition and they do not bring to perdition but their own souls , and they shall not harm you in any way , and allah has revealed to you the book and the wisdom , and he has taught you what you did not know , and allah ' s grace on you is very great .
यदि तुमपर अल्लाह का उदार अनुग्रह और उसकी दयालुता न होती तो उनमें से कुछ लोग तो यह निश्चय कर ही चुके थे कि तुम्हें राह से भटका दें , हालाँकि वे अपने आप ही को पथभ्रष्टि कर रहे है , और तुम्हें वे कोई हानि नहीं पहुँचा सकते । अल्लाह ने तुमपर किताब और हिकमत उतारी है और उसने तुम्हें वह कुछ सिखाया है जो तुम जानते न थे । अल्लाह का तुमपर बहुत बड़ा अनुग्रह है

i follow the religion of my fathers , abraham , isaac and jacob ; and it is not for us to associate anyone with god as a partner . this is of god ' s grace upon us and upon mankind ; even though most men are not grateful .
और मैं तो अपने बाप दादा इबराहीम व इसहाक़ व याक़ूब के मज़हब पर चलने वाला हूँ मुनासिब नहीं कि हम ख़ुदा के साथ किसी चीज़ को शरीक बनाएँ ये भी ख़ुदा की एक बड़ी मेहरबानी है हम पर भी और तमाम लोगों पर मगर बहुतेरे लोग उसका शुक्रिया अदा नहीं करते

when they hear any news , whether of peace or of something fearful , they spread it about ; whereas if they referred it to the messenger and to the men in charge , those of them who would have investigated it and could have arrived at the truth of the matter . but for god ' s grace and mercy , all but a few of you would have followed satan .
और जब उनके पास अमन या ख़ौफ़ की ख़बर आयी तो उसे फ़ौरन मशहूर कर देते हैं हालॉकि अगर वह उसकी ख़बर को रसूल और ईमानदारो में से जो साहबाने हुकूमत तक पहुंचाते तो बेशक जो लोग उनमें से उसकी तहक़ीक़ करने वाले हैं उसको समझ लेते कि और अगर तुमपर ख़ुदा का फ़ज़ल और उसकी मेहरबानी न होती तो चन्द आदमियों के सिवा तुम सबके सब शैतान की पैरवी करने लगते

children of adam ! we have sent down on you a garment to cover your shameful parts , and feathers ; and the garment of godfearing - - that is better ; that is one of god ' s signs ; haply they will remember .
और उसी में से उसी में से फिर दोबारा तुम ज़िन्दा करके निकाले जाओगे ऐ आदम की औलाद हमने तुम्हारे लिए पोशाक नाज़िल की जो तुम्हारे शर्मगाहों को छिपाती है और ज़ीनत के लिए कपड़े और इसके अलावा परहेज़गारी का लिबास है और ये सब से बेहतर है ये भी ख़ुदा की निशानियों से है
