तुम किसी भी ऐसे व्यक्ति की बात न मानना जो बहुत क़समें खानेवाला , हीन है ,

and do not drive the beggar away ,
माँगने वाले को झिड़की न देना

give full measure and do not cheat ;
तुम पूरा - पूरा पैमाना भरो और घाटा न दो

and do not confer favor to acquire more
और इसी तरह एहसान न करो कि ज्यादा के ख़ास्तगार बनो

and do not obey the bidding of the extravagant ,
और ज्यादती करने वालों का कहा न मानों

and do not obey every worthless habitual swearer
और तुम ऐसे के कहने में न आना जो बहुत क़समें खाता ज़लील औक़ात ऐबजू

and do not be careless about teaching at all.
और पढ़ाने के मामले में लापरबाई नहीं करते बिलकुल।

“ and fear allah and do not disgrace me . ”
अल्लाह का डर ऱखो , मुझे रुसवा न करो । "

who corrupt in the earth , and do not reform '
जो रुए ज़मीन पर फ़साद फैलाया करते हैं और इसलाह नहीं करते

who spread turmoil on earth , and do not reform . ”
जो धरती में बिगाड़ पैदा करते है , और सुधार का काम नहीं करते । "

“ and do not follow those who exceed the limits . ”
और ज्यादती करने वालों का कहा न मानों
