thus he revealed unto his bondman whatsoever he revealed.
そしてしもべ（ムハンマド）に，かれの啓示を告げた。

an insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent.
（それらは）悔悟して（主の御許に）返る凡てのしもべが，よく観察すべきことであり，教訓である。

mention of the mercy of thy lord to his bondman zakariyya.
（これは）あなたの主が，しもベのザカリーヤーに御慈悲を与えたことの記述である。

a perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines.
（それらは）悔悟して（主の御許に）返る凡てのしもべが，よく観察すべきことであり，教訓である。

this is the remembrance of the mercy of your lord upon his bondman zakaria.
（これは）あなたの主が，しもベのザカリーヤーに御慈悲を与えたことの記述である。

so allah divinely revealed to his bondman, whatever he divinely revealed.
そしてしもべ（ムハンマド）に，かれの啓示を告げた。

o progeny of those whom we bare with nuh: verily he was a bondman grateful.
われがヌーフと一緒に（方舟で）運んだ者の子孫よ。本当にかれは感謝するしもベであった。

and when the bondman of allah stood calling upon him, they well nigh pressed on him stifling.
アッラーのしもべ（ムハンマド）が，かれに祈るために立った時，かれら（マッカの多神教徒）はどっと押し寄せんばかりに，かれを取り巻いた。

the descendants of those whom we boarded along with nooh; he was indeed a grateful bondman.
われがヌーフと一緒に（方舟で）運んだ者の子孫よ。本当にかれは感謝するしもベであった。

and we bestowed sulaiman to dawud; what an excellent bondman! he is indeed most inclined.
われはダーウードにスライマーンを授けた。何と優れたしもべではないか。かれは梅悟して常に（われに）帰った。

and thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.
あなたはかつてエジプトで奴隷であったことを覚え、これらの定めを守り行わなければならない。

he said: verily i am a bondman of allah; he hath vouchsafed me the book and made me a prophet.
（その時）かれ（息子）は言った。「わたしは，本当にアッラーのしもベです。かれは啓典をわたしに与え，またわたしを預言者になされました。

yet if god wills that it continue until all the wealth piled by the bondman's 250 years of unrequited toil shall be sunk
されど神の意志が 250年にわたる奴隷の苦役で得た 富が失われるまで 鞭で流れた血の滴が 剣で贖われるまで

and remember thou our bondman ayyub, what time he cried unto his lord: verily the satan hath touched me with affliction and suffering.
わがしもべ，アイユーブを思い起しなさい。かれが主に向かって，「シャイターンがわたしを悩ませ，苦しみ抜いているのです。」と叫んだ時を思い起しなさい。

‘and that when allah’s bondman stood up to worship him, the jinns had almost crowded upon him.’”
アッラーのしもべ（ムハンマド）が，かれに祈るために立った時，かれら（マッカの多神教徒）はどっと押し寄せんばかりに，かれを取り巻いた。

before these, the people of nooh denied and they belied our bondman and said, “he is a madman” and rebuffed him.
かれら以前に，ヌーフの民も（その預言者を）虚偽とし，わがしもべを嘘付き呼ばわりし，「気違いです。」と言って追放した。

“o my father, do not be a bondman of the devil; indeed the devil is disobedient towards the most gracious.”
父よ，悪魔に仕えてはなりません。本当に悪魔は慈悲深き御方に対する謀叛者です。
