dɣa isteqsa-ten : udem akk-d tira yellan deg uṣuṛdi-agi, wi ten-ilan ?

sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
amdan-agi tlumm-it meṛṛa tejmaɛt, beṛka-t !

but when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, to what purpose is this waste?
mi walan ayagi, inelmaden iɣaḍ-iten lḥal, nnan : iwumi lexsaṛa-yagi ?

and the scribes and the pharisees began to reason, saying, who is this which speaketh blasphemies? who can forgive sins, but god alone?
lɛulama akk-d ifariziyen bdan țxemmimen qqaṛen : amek yezmer a d-yini imeslayen agi ? wagi d lekfeṛ ! anwa i gzemren ad iɛfu ddnubat anagar sidi ṛebbi ?

and they asked them, saying, is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
steqsan-ten nnan-asen : argaz-agi, ț-țideț d mmi-twen ? d ṣṣeḥ ilul-ed d aderɣal ? amek armi i guɣal yețwali tura ?

pure religion and undefiled before god and the father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
atan webrid iṣeḥḥan yellan ț-țideț zdat sidi ṛebbi baba-tneɣ : d m'ara terzum ɣef igujilen ț-țuǧǧal m'ara ilin di lmeḥna, d uḥader n yiman-nwen ɣef wayen n diri ara d-yekken si ddunit.

the people answered him, we have heard out of the law that christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, the son of man must be lifted up? who is this son of man?
lɣaci nnan-as : ccariɛa tenna-d belli lmasiḥ ad yidir i dayem. amek i d-tenniḍ « mmi-s n bunadem ilaq ad yețwarfed sennig lqaɛa » ? ini-yaɣ-d ihi anwa i d mmi-s n bunadem ?

and he beheld them, and said, what is this then that is written, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
lameɛna sidna Ɛisa imuqel-iten yenna : d acu i d lmeɛna n wawal-agi yuran : adɣaɣ i ḍeggṛen wid ibennun, yuɣal d win yeṭṭfen lebni .

and they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, what a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
lɣaci ikcem-iten akk lxuf, qqaṛen wway gar-asen : d acu-ten yimeslayen-agi ? yesɛa tazmert s wayes iḥekkem ula ɣef leǧnun ! akken kan ara sen-yefk lameṛ ad ffɣen !

and he said unto them, where is your faith? and they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, what manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : anida-t liman-nwen ? tɛeǧǧben, țergigin, qqaṛen wway gar-asen : anwa-t wagi ? izmer ad yefk lameṛ i waḍu d lebḥeṛ yerna țțaɣen as awal !
