as he bethinkest himself selfsufficient.
스스로 충만하다 생각하도다

bethinkest thou, if he is himself guided,
그가 복음의 길 위에 있었다생각하느뇨

bethinkest thou, if he belieth and turneth away?
그가 진리를 거역하고 외면 하였다 생각하느뇨

bethinkest thou not in what wise thy lord did with the 'a'ad:
주님께서 아드 백성에 행한 이야기와

lblis said; bethinkest thou: this one whom thou hast honoured above me- if thou deferrest me till the day of judgment, shall surely seize his progeny save a few.
그가 또 말하더라 이것이 당신께서 내 위에 은혜를 더한 자이뇨 당신께서 나를 심판의 날까 지 유예한다면 나는 그의 후손들 을 소수만 제외하고는 멸망케 하 리요

bethinkest thou not of one who contended with ibrahim concerning his lord, because allah had vouchsafed unto him dominion! when ibrahim said: my lord is he who giveth life and causeth death, he said: give life and cause death. ibrahim said: verily allah bringeth the sun from the east, then bring it thou from the west. thereupon he who disbelieved was dumb-founded, and allah guideth not a wrong-doing people.
하나님께서 그에게 권능을 주었다 해서 그의 주님에 관하여 아브라함과 논쟁을 하려 하느뇨 이때 아브라함 가로되 나의 주님 은 생명을 부여하고 또 생명을 앗아가는 분이시라 하니 이에 그가 대답하길 내가 생명을 부여하고 생명을 빼앗아 가노라 이에 아브 라함 가로되 그분은 동에서 태양 을 뜨게하시니 당신은 서쪽에서 태양이 뜨도록 하라 하니 믿음을 불신한 그들은 당황하였노라 이처럼 하나님은 우매한 자들을 인도 하지 아니 하시니라
