they said: surely if the wolf should devour him notwithstanding that we are a (strong) company, we should then certainly be losers.
އެއުރެން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންނީ ބާރުހުރި ބަޔެއްކަމަށްވާހިނދު، މިނިކާވަގު (އައިސް) އޭނާ ކައިފިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވާހުށީ (ކަމެއްނުކުރެވޭ) ގެއްލެނިވިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

certainly allah helped you in many battlefields and on the day of hunain, when your great numbers made you vain, but they availed you nothing and the earth became strait to you notwithstanding its spaciousness, then you turned back retreating.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެތައްއެތައް ތަނެއްގައި، اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް نصر ދެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި حُنين (ހަނގުރާމައިގެ) ދުވަހު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ބައިގިނަކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހެއްލުންތެރިވީހިނދު، ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އެ ބައިގިނަކަން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެއްވެސްކަމެއް ފުއްދައެއްނުދިނެވެ. އަދި (އެހިނދު) ތަނަވަސްކޮށް އޮތް ބިން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދަތިވެގެންދިޔައެވެ. ދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، ފުރަގަސްދީ، ފިލާން ދުއްވައިގަތީމުއެވެ.

and they ask you to hasten on the evil before the good, and indeed there have been exemplary punishments before them; and most surely your lord is the lord of forgiveness to people, notwithstanding their injustice; and most surely your lord is severe in requiting (evil).
އަދި ރަނގަޅު ކަންތަކުގެ ކުރިން، ނުބައިކަންތައް އަވަސްވުމަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކިބައިން އެއުރެން އެދެތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިން عبرة ލިބެނިވި عقاب އިސްވެގޮސްފައިވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، މީސްތަކުން އަނިޔާވެރިވުމާއެކުވެސް، އެއުރެންނަށް ފާފަފުއްސެވުމުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، عقاب ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
