isipo kuwa maneno ya salama, salama.

you shall prevail. allah is with you and will not bring your works to nought.
na mwenyezi mungu yu pamoja nanyi, wala hatakunyimeni malipo ya vitendo vyenu.

i said nought to them but what you commanded me: worship god, my lord and your lord.
sikuwaambia lolote ila uliyo niamrisha, nayo ni: muabuduni mwenyezi mungu, mola wangu mlezi na mola wenu mlezi.

this is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
huyu ndiye ambaye maandiko matakatifu yanasema: jiwe mlilokataa ninyi waashi, sasa limekuwa jiwe kuu la msingi.

as to those who disbelieve, perdition lies in store for them and allah has reduced their works to nought.
na walio kufuru, basi kwao ni maangamizo, na atavipoteza vitendo vyao.

there is nought but our life of the world; we die and we live, and we are not going to be raised up.
hapana ila uhai wetu wa duniani tu, tunakufa na kuishi basi. wala sisi hatutafufuliwa.

and when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease were saying: allah and his apostle have promised us nought but delusion.
na walipo sema wanaafiki na wale wenye maradhi katika nyoyo zao: mwenyezi mungu na mtume wake hawakutuahidi ila udanganyifu tu.

that is because they have followed a way that angered allah, and have been averse to his good pleasure. so he reduced all their works to nought.
hayo ni kwa sababu wao waliyafuata yaliyo mchukiza mwenyezi mungu na wakachukia yanayo mridhisha, basi akaviangusha vitendo vyao.

but why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of christ.
kwa nini, basi wewe wamhukumu ndugu yako? nawe, kwa nini wamdharau ndugu yako? sisi sote tutasimama mbele ya kiti cha hukumu cha mungu.

and now i say unto you, refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:
na sasa pia mimi nawaambieni, msiwachukulie watu hawa hatua yoyote; waacheni! kwa maana, ikiwa mpango huu au shughuli hii yao imeanzishwa na binadamu, itatoweka yenyewe.

and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath god chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
mungu ameyachagua yale ambayo kwa fikira za dunia ni mambo yaliyo duni na yanayodharauliwa, mambo ambayo hata hayakuwako, ili kwa hayo ayafutilie mbali yale ambayo kwa fikira za binadamu ni mambo ya maana.

so that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all asia and the world worshippeth.
hivyo iko hatari kwamba biashara yetu itakuwa na jina baya. si hivyo tu, bali pia jambo hilo linaweza kuifanya nyumba ya mungu artemi kuwa si kitu cha maana. hatimaye sifa zake huyo ambaye asia na dunia yote inamwabudu, zitakwisha."

and he answered and told them, elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
naye akawajibu, "naam, eliya anakuja kwanza kutayarisha yote. hata hivyo, kwa nini basi imeandikwa katika maandiko matakatifu kwamba mwana wa mtu atapatwa na mateso mengi na kudharauliwa?

and nought of the reckoning of their (deeds) shall be against those who guard (against evil), but (theirs) is only to remind, haply they may guard.
wala wamchao mungu hawana jukumu lolote kwao, lakini ni kukumbusha, asaa wapate kujiepusha.
