one who had the knowledge of the book said: i will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye.
akasema mwenye ilimu ya kitabu: mimi nitakuletea kabla ya kupepesa jicho lako.

said one who had knowledge of the book: "i will bring it to thee within the twinkling of an eye!"
akasema mwenye ilimu ya kitabu: mimi nitakuletea kabla ya kupepesa jicho lako.

and he who had some knowledge of the book said: "i will bring it before the twinkling of your eye."

but one who had knowledge of the letter, said: "i will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye."

it takes only a single command from us (to bring the day of judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye.

allah has full knowledge of the truths beyond the reach of perception both in the heavens and the earth; and the coming of the hour will take no more than the twinkling of an eye; it may take even less.

and unto allah belongeth the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and the matter of the hour (of doom) is but as a twinkling of the eye, or it is nearer still. lo!
