and we caused a plant of gourd to grow over him.
Ва бар болои сараш бӯтаи кадуе рӯёнидем.

no food will there be for them but a poisonous thorny plant,
таъоме ғайри хор надоранд,

for them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant
таъоме ғайри хор надоранд,

and we caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind.
Ва бар болои сараш бӯтаи кадуе рӯёнидем.

believers, if you aid allah, he will come to your aid and will plant your feet firmly.
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, агар Худоро ёрӣ кунед, шуморо ёрӣ хоҳад кард ва пойдорӣ хоҳад бахшид.

and we sent down water from the skies, and thus we made every kind of excellent plant grow there:
Ва аз осмон об фиристодем ва дар замин ҳар гуна гиёҳи некӯе рӯёнидем.

and we sent down water from the sky and caused every splendid kind [of plant] to grow in it.
Ва аз осмон об фиристодем ва дар замин ҳар гуна гиёҳи некӯе рӯёнидем.

it is he who has laid out the earth for you and traced routes in it and sent down water from the sky. we have brought forth every sort of plant with it,
Касест, ки заминро оромгоҳи шумо сохт ва бароятон дар он роҳҳое падид овард ва аз осмон борон фиристод, то бо он анвоъе гуногун аз наботот бирӯёнем.

o you who believe, if you help (in the cause of) god he will surely come to your aid, and firmly plant your feet.
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, агар Худоро ёрӣ кунед, шуморо ёрӣ хоҳад кард ва пойдорӣ хоҳад бахшид.

o ye who believe! if ye will aid (the cause of) allah, he will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, агар Худоро ёрӣ кунед, шуморо ёрӣ хоҳад кард ва пойдорӣ хоҳад бахшид.

and you see the earth torpid, yet when we send down water upon it, it stirs and swells, and grows every delightful kind [of plant].
Чун борон бар он бифирис- тем, дар ҷунбиш ояд ва нашъу намо кунад ва аз ҳар гуна гиёҳи боравнақ бирӯёнад.

that is their description in the torah. and their description in the gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers - so that allah may enrage by them the disbelievers.
Ин аст васфашон дар Таврот ва дар Инҷил, мисли зироате ҳастанд, ки гиёҳ барорад ва он ҷавона маҳкам шавад ва бар поҳои худ биистад ва деҳқононро ба ҳайрат водорад, то он ҷо ки кофиронро ба хашм оварад.

"(are the idols worthier or) the one who has created the heavens and the earth, who has sent water from the sky for you, who has established delightful gardens and you could not even plant one tree?
Ё он касе, ки осмонҳову заминро офарид ва аз осмон бароятон об фиристод ва бо он бӯстонҳое хушманзар рӯёнидем, ки шуморо тавони рӯёнидани дарахте аз он нест.
