yet thy lord would never destroy the cities unjustly, while as yet their people were putting things right.
(நபியே!) ஓர் ஊராரை, அவ்வூரார் சீர்திருந்திக் கொண்டிருக்கும் நிலையில் - அநியாயமாக உம் இறைவன் அழிக்கப்படமாட்டான்.

now there were nine ring-leaders in the city who created corruption in the land and never worked to set things right.
இன்னும், அந்நகரில் ஒன்பது மனிதர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் நன்மை எதுவும் செய்யாது பூமியில் குழப்பம் செய்து கொண்டு திரிந்தார்கள்.

when it is said to them, 'do not corruption in the land', they say, 'we are only ones that put things right.'
"பூமியில் குழப்பத்தை உண்டாக்காதீர்கள்" என்று அவர்களிடம் சொல்லப்பட்டால் "நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் தாம் சமாதானவாதிகள்" என்று அவர்கள் சொல்கிறார்கள்.

believers are indeed brothers, therefore make things right among your two brothers and fear allah, so that you will be subject to mercy.
நிச்சயமாக முஃமின்கள் (யாவரும்) சகோரர்களே ஆகவே, உங்கள் இரு சகோதரர்களுக்கிடையில் நீங்கள் சமாதானம் உண்டாக்குங்கள்; இன்னும் உங்கள் மீது கிருபை செய்யப்படும் பொருட்டு, நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை அஞ்சங்கள்.

and make not allah a butt of your oaths that ye shall not act piously nor fear allah nor set things right between and allah is hearing, knowing.
இன்னும், நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வைக் கொண்டு சத்தியம் செய்வதனால், நீங்கள் நற்கருமங்கள் செய்தல், இறைபக்தியுடன் நடத்தல், மனிதர்களிடையே சமாதானம் செய்து வைத்தல் போன்றவற்றில் அவனை ஒரு தடையாகச் செய்துவிடாதீர்கள்;. அல்லாஹ் யாவற்றையும் செவியுறுவோனாகவும், நன்கறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

surely the believers are none but brothers unto one another, so set things right between your brothers, and have fear of allah that you may be shown mercy.
நிச்சயமாக முஃமின்கள் (யாவரும்) சகோரர்களே ஆகவே, உங்கள் இரு சகோதரர்களுக்கிடையில் நீங்கள் சமாதானம் உண்டாக்குங்கள்; இன்னும் உங்கள் மீது கிருபை செய்யப்படும் பொருட்டு, நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை அஞ்சங்கள்.

ஒரு பெண் தன் கணவன் தன்னை வெறுத்து விடுவான் என்றோ அல்லது புறக்கணித்து விடுவான் என்றோ பயந்தால், அவர்கள் இருவரும் தங்களுக்குள் (சமாதானமான) ஒரு முடிவைச் செய்து கொண்டால் அவ்விருவர் மீது குற்றமில்லை. அத்தகைய சமாதானமே மேலானது. இன்னும், ஆன்மாக்கள் கருமித்தனத்திற்கு உட்பட்டவையாகின்றன. அவ்வாறு உட்படாமல்) ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உபகாரம் செய்து, (அல்லாஹ்வுக்குப்) பயந்து நடப்பீர்களானால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றையெல்லாம் நன்கு அறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

do not make god a hindrance, through your oaths, to being pious and godfearing, and putting things right between men. surely god is all-hearing, all-knowing.
இன்னும், நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வைக் கொண்டு சத்தியம் செய்வதனால், நீங்கள் நற்கருமங்கள் செய்தல், இறைபக்தியுடன் நடத்தல், மனிதர்களிடையே சமாதானம் செய்து வைத்தல் போன்றவற்றில் அவனை ஒரு தடையாகச் செய்துவிடாதீர்கள்;. அல்லாஹ் யாவற்றையும் செவியுறுவோனாகவும், நன்கறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

but if any man fears injustice or sin from one making testament, and so makes things right between them, then sin shall not rest upon him; surely god is all-forgiving, all-compassionate.
ஆனால் வஸிய்யத்து செய்பவரிடம்(பாரபட்சம் போன்ற) தவறோ அல்லது மன முரண்டான அநீதமோ இருப்பதையஞ்சி ஒருவர் (சம்பந்தப்பட்டவர்களிடையே) சமாதானம் செய்து (அந்த வஸிய்யத்தை)சீர் செய்தால் அ(ப்படிச் செய்ப)வர் மீது குற்றமில்லை. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மன்னிப்பவனாகவும்; நிகரற்ற அன்புடையோனுமாகவும் இருக்கிறான்.

but should someone, fearing deviance or sin on the testator’s behalf, set things right between them, there is no sin upon him. indeed allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
ஆனால் வஸிய்யத்து செய்பவரிடம்(பாரபட்சம் போன்ற) தவறோ அல்லது மன முரண்டான அநீதமோ இருப்பதையஞ்சி ஒருவர் (சம்பந்தப்பட்டவர்களிடையே) சமாதானம் செய்து (அந்த வஸிய்யத்தை)சீர் செய்தால் அ(ப்படிச் செய்ப)வர் மீது குற்றமில்லை. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மன்னிப்பவனாகவும்; நிகரற்ற அன்புடையோனுமாகவும் இருக்கிறான்.

they will question thee concerning the spoils. say: 'the spoils belong to god and the messenger; so fear you god, and set things right between you, and obey you god and his messenger, if you are believers.'
போரில் கிடைத்த வெற்றிப்பொருள்(அன்ஃபால்)களைப் பற்றி உம்மிடம் அவர்கள் கேட்கிறார்கள். (அதற்கு நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக அன்ஃபால் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், (அவனுடைய) தூதருக்கும் சொந்தமானதாகும்; ஆகவே அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்; உங்களிடையே ஒழுங்குடன் நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; நீங்கள் முஃமின்களாக இருப்பின் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படியுங்கள்.
