[all of] whom oppressed within the lands
அவர்களெல்லாம் நாடுகளில் வரம்பு மீறி நடந்தனர்.

the like of whom were never created in the realm;
அவர்கள் போன்ற ஒரு சமுதாயம் எந்த நாடுகளிலும் படைக்கப்படவில்லை.

except lot's family, of whom we shall save all,
"லூத்தின் கிளையாரைத் தவிர, அவர்களனைவரையும் நிச்சயமாக நாம் காப்பாற்றுவோம்.

allah, who is in need of none and of whom all are in need;
அல்லாஹ் (எவரிடத்தும்) தேவையற்றவன்.

except for lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue,
"லூத்தின் கிளையாரைத் தவிர, அவர்களனைவரையும் நிச்சயமாக நாம் காப்பாற்றுவோம்.

the like of whom no nation was ever created in the lands of the world?
அவர்கள் போன்ற ஒரு சமுதாயம் எந்த நாடுகளிலும் படைக்கப்படவில்லை.

except his wife, of whom we had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind.
ஆனால் அவர் (லூத்) உடைய மனைவியைத் தவிர - நிச்சயமாக அவள் (காஃபிர்களின் கூட்டத்தாரோடு) பின்தங்கியிருப்பாள் என்று நாம் நிர்ணயித்து விட்டோம்" என்று (வானவர்கள்) கூறினார்கள்.

and we have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers.
நாம் அதில் உங்களுக்கும் நீங்கள் எவருக்கு உணவளிக்கிறவர்களாக இல்லையோ அவர்களுக்கும் வாழ்க்கைக்குத் தேவையான பொருட்களை ஆக்கியுள்ளோம்.

that day intercession will profit not except him for whom the compassionate giveth leave, and of whom he approveth the word.
அந்நாளில் அர்ரஹ்மான் எவரை அனுமதித்து, எவருடைய பேச்சை உவந்து கொள்கிறானோ, அவர்களைத் தவிர வேறு எவருடைய ஷஃபாஅத்தும் (பரிந்துரையும்) பலனளிக்காது.

the lord of the heavens and earth, and all that is between them, the merciful, of whom they are unable to speak.
(அவனே) வானங்களுக்கும், பூமிக்கும் அவ்விரண்டிற்கும் இடையேயுள்ள வற்றிற்கும் இறைவன்; அர்ரஹ்மான் - அவனிடம் பேச எவரும் அதிகாரம் பெறமாட்டார்கள்.

allah enlarges the sustenance of any of his servants whom he will, and straitens the sustenance of whom he will. surely allah has knowledge of everything.
"அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார்களில் தான் நாடியவர்களுக்கு உணவை விசாலமாக்குகிறான், தான் நாடியவருக்கு சுருக்கியும் விடுகிறான்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொன்றையும் அறிந்தவன்."

and messengers of whom we have narrated to you before, and messengers of whom we did not narrate to you. certainly, allah talked to moses.
(இவர்களைப் போன்றே வேறு) தூதர்கள் சிலரையும் (நாம் அனுப்பி) அவர்களுடைய சரித்திரங்களையும் உமக்கு நாம் முன்னர் கூறியுள்ளோம்;. இன்னும் (வேறு) தூதர்கள் (பலரையும் நாம் அனுப்பினோம்;. ஆனால்) அவர்களின் சரித்திரங்களை உமக்குக் கூறவில்லை. இன்னும் மூஸாவுடன் அல்லாஹ் பேசியும் இருக்கின்றான்.

and remember ishmael, elisha and dhu’l-kifl—each [of whom was] among the elect.
இன்னும் (நபியே!) நினைவு கூர்வீராக இஸ்மாயீலையும், அல்யஸவுவையும், துல்கிஃப்லையும் - (இவர்கள்) எல்லோரும் நல்லோர்களில் உள்ளவராகவே இருந்தனர்.

these are they of whom allah knows what is in their hearts; therefore turn aside from them and admonish them, and speak to them effectual words concerning themselves.
அத்தகையோரின் உள்ளங்களில் இருப்பவற்றை அல்லாஹ் நன்கு அறிவான் - ஆகவே நீர் அவர்களிடமிருந்து விலகியிரும், அவர்களுக்கு நல்லுபதேசம் செய்யும்; மேலும், அவர்களின் மனங்களில் பதியும்படி தெளிவான வார்த்தைகளைக் கூறும்.

(muhammad), recall our servants abraham, isaac, and jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions.
(நபியே! ஆத்மீக) ஆற்றலும், அகப்பார்வையும் உடையவர்களாயிருந்த நம் அடியார்களான இப்றாஹீம், இஸ்ஹாஃக், யஃகூப் ஆகியோரையும் நினைவு கூர்வீராக!

பத்தி

say, ‘travel over the land, and see how was the fate of those who were before [you], most of whom were polytheists.’
"பூமியில் நீங்கள் சுற்றித் திரிந்து (உங்களுக்கு) முன்னிருந்தவர்களின் முடிவு என்ன ஆயிற்று என்பதை நீங்கள் கவனித்துப் பாருங்கள்? அவர்கள் பெரும்பாலோர் முஷ்ரிக்குகளாக (இணை வைப்பவர்களாக) இருந்தனர்" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.

"except his wife, of whom we have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)."
ஆனால் அவர் (லூத்) உடைய மனைவியைத் தவிர - நிச்சயமாக அவள் (காஃபிர்களின் கூட்டத்தாரோடு) பின்தங்கியிருப்பாள் என்று நாம் நிர்ணயித்து விட்டோம்" என்று (வானவர்கள்) கூறினார்கள்.

(moses) said: "get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, 'touch me not'; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted worshipper: we will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!"
"நீ இங்கிருந்து போய் விடு நிச்சயமாக இந்த வாழ்க்கையில் (எவரைக் கண்டாலும், என்னைத்) "தீண்டாதீர்கள்" என்று சொல்(லித் திரி)வது தான் உனக்குள்ளது, (மறுமையில்) நிச்சயமாக உனக்கு வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட வேதனையும் உண்டு அதை விட்டும் நீ தப்பமாட்டாய்; மேலும்; நீ தரிபட்டு ஆராதனை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தாயே அந்த "நாயனைப்" பார்; நிச்சயமாக அதனைச் சுட்டெரித்துப் பின்னர் (சாம்பலாக்கி) அதைக் கடலில் பரத்திவிடுவோம்" என்றார்.
