but every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
แต่หญิงทุกคนที่กำลังอธิษฐานหรือพยากรณ์ ถ้าไม่คลุมศีรษะ ก็ทำความอัปยศแก่ศีรษะ เพราะเหมือนกับว่านางได้โกนผมเสียแล้

the prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the lord hath truly sent him.
ส่วนผู้พยากรณ์ผู้พยากรณ์ว่าจะมีสันติภาพ เมื่อเป็นจริงตามถ้อยคำของผู้พยากรณ์นั้น จึงรู้กันว่าพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงใช้ผู้พยากรณ์นั้นจริง

son of man, behold, they of the house of israel say, the vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.
"ดูเถิด บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย วงศ์วานของอิสราเอลกล่าวว่า `นิมิตที่เขาเห็นเป็นเรื่องของอีกหลายวันข้างหน้า และเขาพยากรณ์ถึงเวลาที่ห่างไกลโน้น

i would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
ข้าพเจ้าใคร่ให้ท่านทั้งหลายพูดภาษาต่างๆได้ แต่ยิ่งกว่านั้นอีกข้าพเจ้าปรารถนาจะให้ท่านทั้งหลายพยากรณ์ได้ เพราะว่าผู้ที่พยากรณ์ได้นั้นก็ใหญ่กว่าคนที่พูดภาษาต่างๆได้ เว้นแต่เขาสามารถแปลภาษานั้นๆออก เพื่อคริสตจักรจะได้รับความจำเริญขึ้

and it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
ต่อมาเมื่อมีผู้ใดมาพยากรณ์อีก บิดามารดาผู้ให้เขาบังเกิดมานั้นจะพูดกับเขาว่า `เจ้าอย่ามีชีวิตอยู่เลย เพราะเจ้าพูดมุสาในพระนามของพระเยโฮวาห์' เมื่อเขาพยากรณ์ บิดามารดาผู้ให้เขาเกิดมาจะแทงเขาให้ทะล
