then said he, unto what is the kingdom of god like? and whereunto shall i resemble it?
พระองค์จึงตรัสว่า "อาณาจักรของพระเจ้าเหมือนสิ่งใด และเราจะเปรียบอาณาจักรนั้นกับอะไรด

and the lord said, whereunto then shall i liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า "เหตุฉะนั้นเราจะเปรียบคนยุคนี้เหมือนกับอะไรดี และเขาเหมือนอะไ

and he said, whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of god? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
และพระองค์ตรัสว่า "อาณาจักรของพระเจ้าจะเปรียบเหมือนสิ่งใด หรือจะสำแดงด้วยคำเปรียบอย่างไ

and, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called the fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of lasea.
เมื่อเรือแล่นเลียบฝั่งเกาะนั้นอย่างยากเย็น เราจึงมายังตำบลหนึ่งชื่อว่า ท่างาม เมืองลาเซียอยู่ใกล้ที่นั่

fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
จงต่อสู้อย่างเต็มกำลังเพื่อความเชื่อ จงยึดชีวิตนิรันดร์ไว้ ซึ่งพระเจ้าทรงเรียกให้ท่านรับในเมื่อท่านได้รับเชื่ออย่างดีต่อหน้าพยานหลายค

assuredly that whereunto ye call me hath no claim in the world or in the hereafter, and our return will be unto allah, and the prodigals will be owners of the fire.
ไม่ต้องสงสัยเลยว่า แท้จริงที่พวกท่านเชิญชวนฉันไปสู่นั้น มันไม่เหมาะสม (ที่จะเอาใจใส่) แก่มันทั้งในโลกนี้และในปรโลกด้วย และแท้จริง การกลับของเรานั้นไปสู่อัลลอฮฺ

and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
และ `เป็นศิลาที่ทำให้สะดุด และเป็นก้อนหินที่ทำให้ขัดเคืองใจ' ที่เขาสะดุดนั้นเพราะเขาไม่เชื่อฟังพระวจนะ ตามที่เขาถูกกำหนดไว้เช่นนั้นด้ว

if thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of jesus christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

พระราชกิจอันกอปรด้วยพระราชอำนาจและอานุภาพ กับเรื่องราวละเอียดของยศศักดิ์อันสูงของโมรเดคัย ซึ่งกษัตริย์ทรงเลื่อนท่านขึ้น มิได้บันทึกไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารของกษัตริย์แห่งมีเดียและเปอร์เซียหรื

we have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
และเรามีคำพยากรณ์ที่แน่นอนยิ่งกว่านั้นอีก จะเป็นการดีถ้าท่านทั้งหลายจะถือตามคำนั้น เสมือนแสงประทีปที่ส่องสว่างในที่มืด จนกว่าแสงอรุณจะขึ้น และดาวประจำรุ่งจะผุดขึ้นในใจของท่านทั้งหลา

and they say: if we were to follow the guidance with thee we should be torn out of our land. have we not established for them a sure sanctuary, whereunto the produce of all things is brought (in trade), a provision from our presence? but most of them know not.
