so, we subjected to him the wind, it blew gently to his order whithersoever he willed,

and a certain scribe came, and said unto him, master, i will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
ขณะนั้นมีธรรมาจารย์คนหนึ่งมาหาพระองค์ทูลว่า "อาจารย์เจ้าข้า ท่านไปทางไหน ข้าพเจ้าจะตามท่านไปทางนั้น

then we subjected the wind to his power, to flow gently to his order, whithersoever he willed,-
และเราได้ทำให้ลมพัดเฉื่อย ๆ ตามบัญชาของเขาไปยังทิศทางที่เขาต้องการ

and it may be that i will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever i go.
และข้าพเจ้าอาจจะพักอยู่กับท่าน บางทีอาจจะอยู่จนถึงสิ้นฤดูหนาวก็เป็นได้ แล้วข้าพเจ้าจะไปทางไหน พวกท่านจะได้ส่งข้าพเจ้าไปทางนั้

พระทัยกษัตริย์เป็นเหมือนธารน้ำในพระหัตถ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์ พระเยโฮวาห์จะหันไปไหนๆตามแต่พระองค์ทรงโปร

and he put garrisons in edom; and all the edomites became david's servants. thus the lord preserved david whithersoever he went.
และท่านตั้งทหารประจำป้อมในเอโดม และคนเอโดมทั้งสิ้นได้เป็นคนรับใช้ของดาวิด และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงประทานชัยชนะแก่ดาวิดไม่ว่าพระองค์เสด็จไป ณ ที่ใด

and i have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.
และเราได้อยู่กับเจ้าไม่ว่าเจ้าไปที่ไหน และได้ขจัดบรรดาศัตรูของเจ้าให้พ้นหน้าเจ้า และเราได้กระทำให้เจ้ามีชื่อเสียงใหญ่โตอย่างกับชื่อเสียงของผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ในโล

then david put garrisons in syria of damascus: and the syrians became servants to david, and brought gifts. and the lord preserved david whithersoever he went.
แล้วดาวิดทรงตั้งทหารประจำป้อมไว้เหนือคนซีเรียชาวเมืองดามัสกัสหลายกอง และคนซีเรียก็เป็นพลไพร่ของดาวิด และนำเครื่องบรรณาการไปถวาย พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงประทานชัยชนะแก่ดาวิดไม่ว่าจะไปรบ ณ ที่ใด

and i was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.
เราได้อยู่กับเจ้าไม่ว่าเจ้าไปที่ไหน และได้ขจัดบรรดาศัตรูของเจ้าให้พ้นหน้าเจ้า และเรากระทำให้เจ้ามีชื่อเสียงใหญ่โต อย่างกับชื่อเสียงของผู้ใหญ่ในโล

and he put garrisons in edom; throughout all edom put he garrisons, and all they of edom became david's servants. and the lord preserved david whithersoever he went.
และพระองค์ทรงตั้งทหารประจำป้อมขึ้นเหนือเมืองเอโดม พระองค์ทรงตั้งทหารประจำป้อมในเอโดมทั่วไปหมด และคนเอโดมทั้งสิ้นจึงเป็นพลไพร่ของดาวิด และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงประทานชัยชนะแก่ดาวิดไม่ว่าจะเสด็จไปรบ ณ ที่ใ

to god belong the east and the west; whithersoever you turn, there is the face of god; god is all-embracing, all-knowing.
และทิศตะวันออกและทิศตะวันตกนั้นเป็นสิทธิของอัลลอฮ์ ดังนั้นพวกเจ้าจะผินไปทางไหน ที่นั่นแหละคือพระพักตร์ของอัลลอฮ์ แม้จริงอัลลอฮ์คือผู้ทรงกว้างขวาง ผู้ทรงรอาบรู้

to allah belong the east and the west: whithersoever ye turn, there is the presence of allah. for allah is all-pervading, all-knowing.
และทิศตะวันออกและทิศตะวันตกนั้นเป็นสิทธิของอัลลอฮ์ ดังนั้นพวกเจ้าจะผินไปทางไหน ที่นั่นแหละคือพระพักตร์ของอัลลอฮ์ แม้จริงอัลลอฮ์คือผู้ทรงกว้างขวาง ผู้ทรงรอาบรู้

and allah coineth a similitude: two men, one of them dumb, having control of nothing, and he is a burden on his owner; whithersoever he directeth him to go, he bringeth no good. is he equal with one who enjoineth justice and followeth a straight path (of conduct)?
และอัลลอฮ์ทรงยกอุทาหรณ์ถึงชายสองคน หนึ่งในสองคนเป็นใบ้ เขาไม่สามารถในสิ่งใด และเขาเป็นภาระแก่นายของเขาอีกด้วยไม่ว่าแห่งใดที่นายจะส่งเขาไป เขาจะไม่นำความดีใด ๆ มาเลยเขาจะเท่าเทียมกับผู้กำชับในทางที่เที่ยงธรรม และเขาอยู่ในทางที่เที่ยงตรงกระนั้นหรือ?
