the cedars in the garden of god could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of god was like unto him in his beauty.

deur jou boodskappers het jy die here gesmaad en gesê: met die menigte van my waens het ék die hoogte van die berge opgeklim, die uithoeke van die líbanon, en ek het sy statige seders, die keur van sy sipresse, omgekap en deurgedring tot in sy diepste skuilhoeke, sy bos wat is soos 'n tuin.
