if, in a given gear, the exit speed vbb' exceeds 75 per cent of the maximum speed vmax of the vehicle, the test speed for test in this gear shall be successively reduced by increments of 10 per cent of vtest (i.e. 4 km/h or 5 km/h) until the exit speed vbb' falls below 75 per cent of vmax.
