and the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

pomrijet æe veliko i malo u ovoj zemlji i nitko ih neæe pokopati. nitko neæe naricati nad njima, niti æe zbog njih praviti ureza, niti kose šišati.
both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

i zato, o žene, èujte rijeè jahvinu, i neka uho vaše primi rijeè iz usta njegovih. uèite kæeri svoje jadati, jedna drugu naricati:
for a voice of wailing is heard out of zion, how are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.

tužaljka je to koja æe se naricati. naricat æe je kæeri naroda. naricat æe je nad egiptom i nad svim njegovim mnoštvom' - rijeè je jahve gospoda."
this is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the lord god.

da, ovako govori jahve: "ne smiješ uæi u kuæu žalosti, ne idi naricati niti ih sažaljevati. jer ja sam tom narodu uskratio mir svoj - rijeè je jahvina - ljubav i samilost.
for thus saith the lord, enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for i have taken away my peace from this people, saith the lord, even lovingkindness and mercies.
