ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲠⲒⲤⲒⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲢⲀϢⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲢⲀϢⲒ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ.
when they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

ⲈⲢⲈ ⲂⲞⲖ ⲆⲈ ⲪⲞⲚϨ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲤϮ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀⲨⲂⲞⲢⲂⲈⲢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲠⲈ.
and we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;

ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲘⲀⲐⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲀⲨϨⲈⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲞⲨϨⲞ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ.
and when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲦⲰⲚϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲀⲦⲞⲞⲨⲒ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚϢⲀϤⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲈⲢⲠⲢⲞⲤⲈⲨⲬⲈⲤⲐⲈ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ
and in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲪⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲪⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲚϦ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲞⲢⲈⲘ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ.
he is not the god of the dead, but the god of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

ϦⲈⲚ ⲪⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲞⲚ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲠⲒⲘϨⲀⲨ ⲈⲀⲨⲒⲚⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲤⲐⲞⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲤⲈⲂⲦⲰⲦⲞⲨ.
now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲀϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲠⲀⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲢⲀϦⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲀⲎⲒ ⲈϤϢⲎⲖ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲦϨⲈⲘⲔⲎ ⲞⲨⲦ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ.
and saying, lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

ⲀⲒⲢⲀϢⲒ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲈⲦⲀⲒϪⲒⲘⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲈϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲈⲨⲘⲞϢⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀⲚϬⲒ ⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲚⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲒⲰⲦ
i rejoiced greatly that i found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the father.

ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲀⲨⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒϢⲦⲈⲔⲞ ⲚⲀⲤⲈⲢⲠⲢⲞⲤⲈⲨⲬⲈⲤⲐⲈ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲎⲦϤ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ϨⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚϪⲈϮⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎⲤⲒⲀ.
peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto god for him.

ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲈϤϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲚⲈⲂⲒⲀⲒⲔ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲀⲠⲞⲨϨⲎⲦ ⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲒ ⲀⲨⲦⲀⲘⲈ ⲠⲞⲨϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲈϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϢⲰⲠⲒ.
so when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲀⲔ ϪⲈ ⲚⲈⲤⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲈⲦⲞϢ ⲤⲈⲬⲎ ⲚⲀⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϪⲈ ⲀⲤⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲪⲎ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈϢⲀⲨⲬⲀ ⲞⲨⲔⲞⲨϪⲒ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϢⲀϤⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲚⲞⲨⲔⲞⲨϪⲒ.
wherefore i say unto thee, her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

ⲀⲒⲢⲀϢⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ϦⲈⲚⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ϪⲈ ϨⲎⲆⲎ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲪⲒⲢⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲈⲐⲂⲎⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲒⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ϮⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ.
but i rejoiced in the lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

ϨⲎⲠⲠⲈ ⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲘⲀⲔⲀⲢⲒⲌⲒⲚ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲀⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲀⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈϮϨⲨⲠⲞⲘⲞⲚⲎ ⲚⲦⲈⲒⲰⲂ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒϪⲰⲔ ⲚⲦⲈⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲀⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚϢⲀⲚⲐⲘⲀϦⲦ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲠⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲢⲈϤⲰⲞⲨⲚϨⲎ ⲦⲠⲈ
behold, we count them happy which endure. ye have heard of the patience of job, and have seen the end of the lord; that the lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

ⲈϤⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϮⲀⲬⲀⲒⲀ ⲀⲨϮⲈⲢⲞⲨⲞⲦ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲘⲀⲐⲎⲦⲎⲤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲤⲈϢⲞⲠϤ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲀϤⲈⲢ ⲞⲨⲚⲞϤⲢⲒ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒϨⲘⲞⲦ.
and when he was disposed to pass into achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲘⲎⲢ ⲈⲦⲬⲰⲢⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲄⲈⲢⲄⲈⲤⲎⲚⲞⲤ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϨⲢⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲚⲒⲒϦ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲈⲘϨⲀⲨ ⲈⲨϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϢⲦⲈⲘ ϨⲖⲒ ϢϪⲈⲘϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲤⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲘⲰⲒⲦ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ.
and when he was come to the other side into the country of the gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ϨⲰⲚ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨϬⲎⲠⲒ ⲚⲦⲀⲒⲘⲀⲒⲎ ⲬⲎ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲚ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚⲘⲀⲢⲦⲨⲢⲞⲤ ⲈⲀⲚⲬⲰ ⲚⲤⲰⲚ ⲘⲘⲈⲦϬⲀⲤⲒϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲪⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲈⲦⲞϨⲒ ⲈⲢⲀⲦϤ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨϨⲨⲠⲞⲘⲞⲚⲎ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚϬⲞϪⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲀⲄⲰⲚ ⲈⲦⲬⲎ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ.
wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
