너희가 약속받은 것은 불가 능한 것이라
"far, very far is that which ye are promised!

그들이 약속받은 그날을 믿지 아니한 자들에게 재앙이 있으리라
alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the day which has been promised them.

실의에 빠진 그들의 눈들은 아래로 내려져 있으며 수치가 그 들을 에워싸니 그러함이 그들이 약속받은 날이라
downcast shall be their looks; abjectness shall overspread them. such is the day which they are promised.

그러므로 그들이 무익한 대 화에 빠져 그들이 약속받은 그날 에 직면할 때까지 만끽하도록 버 려두라
(muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the day with which they have been threatened:

그들은 약속받은 것을 보게 되리니 그때 그들은 누가 더 약한자이며 어느 쪽이 열세인가를 알 게 되리라
(on the day of judgment) when the disbelievers witness that with which they have been threatened, they will then know whose helpers are weaker and fewer in number.

가장 큰 무서움도 그들을 슬프게 하지 아니하고 오히려 천 사들이 그들을 영접하며 오늘은 당신들이 약속받은 날이라 하면서 맞이하리라
the great horror [of the day of judgement] shall not grieve them, and the angels will welcome them, saying, "this is your day which you have been promised."
