righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

땅 이 변 화 하 여 진 흙 에 인 친 것 같 고 만 물 이 옷 같 이 나 타 나
hearken unto this, o job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of god.

네 가 네 아 들 에 게 소 망 이 있 은 즉 그 를 징 계 하 고 죽 일 마 음 은 두 지 말 지 니
chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

가 로 되 ` 정 한 세 외 에 는 늑 징 치 말 라' 하
and he said unto them, exact no more than that which is appointed you.

네 자 식 을 징 계 하 라 그 리 하 면 그 가 너 를 평 안 하 게 하 겠 고 또 네 마 음 에 기 쁨 을 주 리
correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.

화 평 케 하 는 자 들 은 화 평 으 로 심 어 의 의 열 매 를 거 두 느 니
and the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

그 성 읍 장 로 들 을 잡 고 들 가 시 와 찔 레 로 숙 곳 사 람 들 을 징 벌 하
and he took the elders of the city, and thorns of the wilderness and briers, and with them he taught the men of succoth.

내 가 진 노 로 너 희 에 게 대 항 하 되 너 희 죄 를 인 하 여 칠 배 나 더 징 책 하 리
then i will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and i, even i, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

내 가 지 팡 이 로 저 희 범 과 를 다 스 리 며 채 찍 으 로 저 희 죄 악 을 징 책 하 리 로
then will i visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

무 릇 내 가 사 랑 하 는 자 를 책 망 하 여 징 계 하 노 니 그 러 므 로 네 가 열 심 을 내 라 회 개 하
as many as i love, i rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

내 가 원 하 는 때 에 저 희 를 징 계 하 리 니 저 희 가 두 가 지 죄 에 걸 릴 때 에 만 민 이 모 여 서 저 희 를 치 리
it is in my desire that i should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.

악 을 버 리 고 선 을 행 하 며 화 평 을 찾 아 따 를 지 어
depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

나 와 그 가 하 룻 밤 에 꿈 을 꾼 즉 각 기 징 조 가 있 는 꿈 이
and we dreamed a dream in one night, i and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.

오 직 온 유 한 자 는 땅 을 차 지 하 며 풍 부 한 화 평 으 로 즐 기 리 로
but the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

훈 계 를 지 키 는 자 는 생 명 길 로 행 하 여 도 징 계 를 버 리 는 자 는 그 릇 가 느 니
the rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.

그 때 에 하 나 님 이 애 굽 에 서 그 징 조 를, 소 안 들 에 서 그 기 사 를 나 타 내
how he had wrought his signs in egypt, and his wonders in the field of zoan:

( 다 윗 의 기 념 케 하 는 시 ) 여 호 와 여, 주 의 노 로 나 를 책 하 지 마 시 고 분 노 로 나 를 징 계 치 마 소
o lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
