bwana asifiwe. kelele za furaha kwa bwana.
praise jesus. joyful noise to the lord

lakini shet'ani alimsahaulisha kumtaja kwa bwana wake.
but satan caused him to forget mentioning [it] to his master.

atawaelekeza wengi wa watu wa israeli kwa bwana mungu wao.
and many of the children of israel shall he turn to the lord their god.

kwa hiyo, ndugu zangu, mnapokutana kula chakula cha bwana, kila mmoja amngoje mwenzake.
wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.

mmoja wao ni bubu, hawezi chochote, naye ni mzigo kwa bwana wake.
one of them is dumb and useless and a burden on his friend.

lakini tuko imara na tungependelea hata kuyahama makao haya, tukahamie kwa bwana.
we are confident, i say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the lord.

nawatakieni neema na amani kutoka kwa mungu baba yetu na kwa bwana yesu kristo.
grace be to you, and peace, from god our father, and from the lord jesus christ.

tunawatakieni neema na amani kutoka kwa mungu baba yetu na kutoka kwa bwana yesu kristo.
grace be to you and peace from god the father, and from our lord jesus christ,

maana nasikia habari za imani yako kwa bwana wetu yesu na upendo wako kwa watu wote wa mungu.
hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the lord jesus, and toward all saints;

lakini shet'ani alimsahaulisha kumtaja kwa bwana wake. basi yusuf akakaa gerezani miaka kadhaa.
but satan caused him to forget mentioning him to his master, so he remained in prison for several years.

ninawatakieni ninyi ndugu amani, upendo na imani kutoka kwa mungu baba na kutoka kwa bwana yesu kristo.
peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from god the father and the lord jesus christ.

na, ushahidi wenyewe ndio huu: mungu alitupatia uzima wa milele, na uzima huo uko kwa bwana.
and this is the record, that god hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son.

basi mjumbe alipo mjia yusuf alisema: rejea kwa bwana wako ukamuulize khabari ya wale wanawake walio jikata mikono yao.

na mwenyezi mungu anapiga mfano wa watu wawili. mmoja wao ni bubu, hawezi chochote, naye ni mzigo kwa bwana wake.

na akamwambia yule aliye jua kuwa atavuka katika wale wawili: nikumbuke kwa bwana wako. lakini shet'ani alimsahaulisha kumtaja kwa bwana wake.
and (joseph) asked the man he knew would be released: "remember me to your lord;" but satan made him forget to mention this to his lord, and joseph remained in prison for a number of years.

naye amegawanyika. mwanamke asiyeolewa au bikira hujishughulisha na mambo ya bwana apate kujitolea mwili na roho kwa bwana. lakini mwanamke aliyeolewa hujishughulisha na mambo ya dunia hii jinsi atakavyompendeza mumewe.
there is difference also between a wife and a virgin. the unmarried woman careth for the things of the lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

walipokuwa wanafanya ibada yao kwa bwana na kufunga, roho mtakatifu alisema: "niteulieni barnaba na saulo kwa ajili ya kazi niliyowaitia."
as they ministered to the lord, and fasted, the holy ghost said, separate me barnabas and saul for the work whereunto i have called them.
