while he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the master any further?

wakamwambia yule mama, "sisi hatuamini tu kwa sababu ya maneno yako; sisi wenyewe tumesikia, na tunajua kwamba huyu ndiye kweli mwokozi wa ulimwengu."
and said unto the woman, now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the christ, the saviour of the world.

waliposikia hayo, walimtukuza mungu. kisha wakamwambia paulo, "ndugu, unaweza kuona kwamba kuna maelfu ya wayahudi ambao sasa wamekuwa waumini na wote hao wanashika kwa makini sheria ya mose.
and when they heard it, they glorified the lord, and said unto him, thou seest, brother, how many thousands of jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

jua lilipokuwa linaanza kutua, wale kumi na wawili walimwendea wakamwambia, "waage watu waende kwenye vijiji na mashamba ya karibu, wakajipatie chakula na mahali pa kulala, kwa maana hapa tulipo ni nyikani."
and when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.
