བདག་གི་རྩལ་དང་གཞན་གྱི་རྩལ་མེད་དོ། །
it is not due to a combination of one’s own skill and another’s skill.

བདག་གི་རྩལ་མེད་དོ། །གཞན་གྱི་རྩལ་མེད་དོ། །
it is not due to one’s own skill. it is not due to another’s skill.

ཡིག་ཆའི་རང་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཐོག་སྤོར་མི་ཐུབ་པ
you cannot move a file over itself.

སྐྱེས་བུའི་རྩལ་མེད་དོ། །ཕ་རོལ་གནོན་པ་མེད་དོ། །
it is not due to a person’s skill. it is not due to his overpowering ability.

ཡིག་ཆའི་རང་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཐོག་འདྲ་བཤུ་མི་ཐུབ་པ
you cannot copy a file over itself.

རྙེད་ན་ལུས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་ནི། །འབྲས་བུ་དག་ཏུ་འགྱུར་བ་ཉིད། །
when the time and the conditions are right, they alight upon embodied beings.

བདག་ཉིད་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་དག་ནི་ལུས་ཀྱིས་ཆོས་སྟོན་གྱི། ཚིག་གིས་མི་སྟོན་པས་
great persons teach the dharma through their actions and not their words.

གནས་ཁང་དེ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀླུའི་ལུས་བསྐྱིལ་བས་གང་བ་མཐོང་ནས་
looking through the keyhole, he saw the entire hut filled with the coiled up body of a nāga

་སྐྱིལ་མོ་ཀྲུང་བཅས་ཏེ་ལུས་དྲང་པོར་བསྲང་ནས་དྲན་པ་ཕྱོགས་པར་བཞག་སྟེ་འདུག་གོ། །
sitting down, he crossed his legs, held his body erect, and rested in mindfulness.

ཆུད་མི་ཟ་བའང་ཚོགས་དང་དུས། །རྙེད་ན་ལུས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་ནི། །འབྲས་བུ་དག་ཏུ་འགྱུར་བ་ཉིད།
when the time and the conditions are right, they alight upon embodied beings.

དེ་ན་ཀླུ་ཕྲ་མོ་གཞན་གང་དག་ཡིན་པ་དེ་དག་གི་ལུས་ལ་བྱེ་མ་མེའི་མདོག་ལྟ་བུ་མི་འབབ་ནས་དེས་སྨྲས་པ།
through all of this, fiery sand had not fallen on a number of scrawny nāgas either, prompting him to ask,

ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཕྱོགས་འདི་ཉིད་དུ་གཡོན་ཅན་རབ་ཏུ་མང་པོ་དག་གིས་དགེ་སློང་མ་རབ་ཏུ་མང་པོ་དག་ལུས་བསྐྱོད་པས་སུན་ཕྱུང་སྟེ།
a great many sinister men here have violated a great many nuns by bodily forcing themselves upon them.

ཀླུ་གཞོན་ནུ་སྐྱེས་ནས་རིང་པོ་མ་ལོན་པ་ཞིག་གི་ལུས་ལ་ཉིན་མོ་བྱེ་མ་མེའི་མདོག་ལྟ་བུ་ལན་གསུམ་འབབ་ཅིང་
after fiery sand thrice fell from the heavens upon a young nāga,

ལུས་ལ་རྡེག་པར་བྱེད་ཅིང་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ་དཔེར་ན་བུད་མེད་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་བྱེད་པ་དང་།
they acted as a man does with a woman, or as a woman does with a man.

དེ་སྐྱ་བོ་བསེང་བསེང་པོ། རིད་པ་དང་། ཉམ་ཆུང་བ་དང་། རྐེ་བ་དང་སྐམ་པ་དང་ལུས་མ་ཐོབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །
and he grew pallid, emaciated, feeble, withered, thin, and weak.

ཉི་མ་བཞི་ཆ་ཤར་བ་དང་། གུང་ཚིགས་མ་ཡོལ་བ་དང་། ཉི་མ་བཞི་ཆ་ལུས་པ་དང་།
