wena, nkosi yam kumkani, amehlo amasirayeli onke akuwe, ukuba uwaxelele, ukuba kuhlale bani na etroneni yenkosi yam ukumkani emveni kwayo.

ekadavide. nguyehova umkhanyiseli wam nomsindisi wam, ndiya koyika bani na? nguyehova inqaba yobomi bam, ndiya kunkwantya ngabani na?
the lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall i fear? the lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall i be afraid?

ubunesithukuthezi ngabani na, ubusoyika bani na, ukuba uthethe amanga, ungandikhumbuli, ungakunyamekeli oko ngentliziyo? andithe quthu na kususela kwaphakade, ungandoyiki nje?
and of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not i held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?

besuka, benyuka baya ebheteli, babuza kuthixo. bathi oonyana bakasirayeli, makunyuke bani na kuthi, aqale ukulwa noonyana bakabhenjamin? wathi uyehova, makuqale uyuda.
