ndavuka kusasa, ukuba ndimanyise unyana wam, o! ufile; ndaza ndamgqala kusasa, yini le, asingunyana wam endamzalayo.
and when i rose in the morning to give my child suck, behold, it was dead: but when i had considered it in the morning, behold, it was not my son, which i did bear.

ndaza ndanikwa ingcongolo, ifana nentonga; saye isithunywa eso simi, sisithi, suka uyilinganise itempile kathixo, nesibingelelo, nabo banqulayo bekuyo.
and there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, rise, and measure the temple of god, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

xa iindudumo ezisixhenxe zazivakalisayo izandi zazo, ndandiza kubhala; ndaza ndeva izwi liphuma emazulwini, lisithi kum, zitywine izinto ezizivakalisileyo iindudumo ezisixhenxe, ungazibhali zona.
and when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, i was about to write: and i heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
