bazibika, akwabakho msindisi; bazibika kuyehova, akabaphendula.
they cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the lord, but he answered them not.

oh that men would praise the lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

umphefumlo wethu ulindele kuyehova; nguye uncedo lwethu, nengweletshetshe yethu.
our soul waiteth for the lord: he is our help and our shield.
