in every thing give thanks: for this is the will of god in christ jesus concerning you.

wathi ke kubo, batsho ngani na ukuthi, ukristu ungunyana kadavide?
and he said unto them, how say they that christ is david's son?

ukuba udavide ngoko umbiza ngokuba nkosi, ungunyana wakhe ngani na?
if david then call him lord, how is he his son?

ngokuba bayinanze ngani bona indlu yabo emva kwabo, lakuqhitshulwa inani leenyanga zabo?
for what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?

kuba ndazisiwe ngani, bazalwana bam, ngabakuloklowe, ukuba kukho iimpikiswano phakathi kwenu.
for it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of chloe, that there are contentions among you.

ngokuba utsho uyehova ukuthi, kwathengiswa ngani ngelize; aniyi kuhlawulelwa nikhululwe ngamali.
for thus saith the lord, ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

ke ukuba inyaniso kathixo iphuphumele ekuthini azukiswe ngobuxoki bam, ndisagwetywa ngani na mna ngokomoni?
for if the truth of god hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am i also judged as a sinner?

yeha nina, xa bathe bathetha kakuhle ngani bonke abantu! kuba ooyise babo babesenjenjalo kubaprofeti ababuxoki.
woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

ukuba ke nenze ngenyaniso nangokugqibeleleyo namhla kuyerubhahali nakwindlu yakhe: vuyani ke ngoabhimeleki, avuye naye ngani.
if ye then have dealt truly and sincerely with jerubbaal and with his house this day, then rejoice ye in abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you:

liveni eli lizwi alithethileyo uyehova ngani, nyana bakasirayeli, ngayo yonke imizalwane endayinyusayo ezweni laseyiputa, lisithi,

waphendula ke wathi kubo, watyapha uisaya ukuprofeta ngani, bahanahanisi, njengokuba kubhaliwe kwathiwa, aba bantu bandibeka ngomlomo, kanti yona intliziyo yabo ikude lee kum.
he answered and said unto them, well hath esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, this people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

ndiyazi ukuba uyehova uninikile eli lizwe; nokuba siwelwe luqhiphuko-mbilini ngani; nokuba bathe amandla bonke abemi beli lizwe ebusweni benu.
and she said unto the men, i know that the lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.
