(which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
သေခြင်းမှထမြောက်တော်မူ၍၊

and they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
သူတို့သည် ထိုစကားကိုနားမလည်ကြ။

but chose the tribe of judah, the mount zion which he loved.
ယုဒအမျိုးကို၎င်း၊ ချစ်တော်မူသော ဇိအုန် တောင်ကို၎င်း ရွေးတော်မူ၏။

which he shed on us abundantly through jesus christ our saviour;
ငါတို့ကို ကယ်တင်သော အရှင်ယေရှုခရစ်အားဖြင့် ငါတို့အပေါ်သို့ ထိုဝိညာဉ်တော်ကို ကြွယ်ဝစွာ သွန်းလောင်းတော်မူ၏။

and the lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မိမိလူတို့အား အပြစ်ပေးမည်အကြံကို နောင်တရတော်မူ၏။

and david went up at the saying of gad, which he spake in the name of the lord.
ဂဒ်ဆင့်ဆိုသော ထာဝရဘုရား၏အမိန့်တော် အတိုင်း ဒါဝိဒ်သည် သွားလေ၏။

according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in christ jesus our lord:
ကောင်းကင်အရပ်တို့၌ အထွဋ်အမြတ် အာဏာစက်တို့သည်၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ထူးဆန်းသော ပညတ်တော်ကို အသင်းတော်အားဖြင့် ယခုသိကြရမည် အကြောင်းတည်း။

and a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.
အနာရောဂါစွဲသောသူတို့၌ ပြတော်မူသောနိမိတ်လက္ခဏာတို့ကို လူအစုအဝေးအပေါင်းတို့သည် မြင် ကြသဖြင့် နောက်တော်သို့ လိုက်ကြ၏။

and he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.
မြင့်သောအရပ်၊ နတ်ဆိုး၊ မိမိလုပ်သော နွား သငယ်တို့အဘို့၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့ကို ခန့်ထားသတည်း။

and it came to pass at the end of forty days, that noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
ထိုအရက်လေးဆယ်ကြာလျှင်၊ နောဧသည် သင်္ဘောထဲ၌ လုပ်ခဲ့သော ပြတင်းပေါကကိုဖွင့်၍၊ ကျီး တကောင်ကို လွှတ်လေ၏။

and he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.
ငါတို့ဘိုးဘေးတို့အား ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူသော ပြည်သို့ သွင်း၍ နေရာချခြင်းအလို့ငှာ၊ ထိုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်တော်မူ၏။

and david gathered all israel together to jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the lord unto his place, which he had prepared for it.
ထာဝရဘုရား၏ သေတ္တာတော်အဘို့ ပြင်ဆင် သော အရပ်ဌာနသို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ခြင်းငှါ ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားအပေါင်းတို့ကို ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ စုဝေးစေသောအခါ၊

and the king took off his ring, which he had taken from haman, and gave it unto mordecai. and esther set mordecai over the house of haman.
ရှင်ဘုရင်သည်လည်း၊ ဟာမန်လက်မှ နှုတ်သော လက်စွပ်တော်ကို တဖန်ချွတ်၍ မော်ဒကဲအား ပေးတော် မူ၏။ ဧသတာလည်း၊ ဟာမန်အိမ်ကို မော်ဒကဲ၌ အပ် လေ၏။

and he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
သင်တို့ကျင့်စရာဘို့ မှာထားတော်မူသော ပဋိ ညာဉ်တရားတည်းဟူသော ပညတ်တော်ဆယ်ပါးတို့ကို မိန့်မြွက်၍ ကျောက်ပြားနှစ်ပြားပေါ်၌ ရေးထားတော်မူ ၏။

and he slew the burnt offering; and aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.
မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်ကောင်ကိုလည်း သတ်၍၊ သူ၏သားတို့သည် အသွေးကို ဆက်ပြီးလျှင်၊ သူသည် ယဇ်ပလ္လင် အပေါ် ပတ်လည်၌ ဖြန်းလေ၏။

and he said unto them, take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
ထိုမှတပါး လောဘလွန်ကျူးခြင်းကို သတိနှင့် ကြဉ်ရှောင်ကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ စည်းစိမ်ရှိသော် လည်း စည်းစိမ်၌ အသက်မတည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
