behold, god is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကြီးမြတ်တော်မူ၏။ ငါတို့ သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို မသိနိုင်။ အသက်တော်နှစ်ပေါင်း ကို စစ်၍မကုန်နိုင်ကြ။

now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
ရုပ်တုရှေ့၌ပူဇော်သော ယဇ်ကောင်အရာမှာ၊ ငါတို့ရှိသမျှ သည် ပိုင်းခြားတတ်သော ဥာဏ်ရှိသည်ကို ငါတို့သိကြ၏။ ဥာဏ်သည် ထောင်လွှားစေတတ်၏။ မေတ္တာမူကား တည်ဆောက်တတ်၏။

but we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.
သို့သော်လည်း ဤဘာသာသည် အရပ်ရပ်တို့၌ ကဲ့ရဲ့အပြစ်တင်ခြင်းကို ခံရသော ဘာသာဖြစ်သည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သိကြသည်ဖြစ်၍ သင်၏အယူဝါဒကို သင်သည် ကိုယ်တိုင်တော်ပြသောစကားကို အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည် နားထောင်သင့်သည်ထင်ပါ၏ဟု ဆိုကြလျှင်၊

and he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. and hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the spirit which he hath given us.
ပညတ်တော်တို့ကို စောင့်သောသူသည် ဘုရားသခင်၌တည်၏။ ထိုသူ၌လည်း ဘုရားသခင် တည်တော်မူ၏။ ငါတို့အားပေးတော်မူသော ဝိညာဉ်တော်ကို ငါတို့သည်အမှီပြု၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည်ငါတို့၌ တည်တော်မူသည်ကိုသိရကြ၏။

and they took him, and brought him unto areopagus, saying, may we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?
ထိုအခါ၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ပေါလုကိုခေါ်၍ အာရေတောင်သို့ ဆောင်သွားပြီးလျှင်၊ သင်သည် ဟော ပြောသော ဤအယူဝါဒသစ်ကို ငါတို့ သိအပ်သလော။

and they asked him, saying, master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of god truly:
ထိုသူလျှိုတို့က၊ အရှင်ဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူမျက်နှာကို မထောက်ဘဲ ဖြောင့်မတ်စွာ ဆုံးမဩဝါဒ ပေး၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ တရားလမ်းကို ဟုတ်မှန်စွာ ပြတော်မူသည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သိကြပါ၏။

and they said, is not this jesus, the son of joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, i came down from heaven?
ဤသူသည် ယောသပ်၏သား ယေရှုဖြစ်သည်မဟုတ်လော။ သူ၏မိဘကိုငါတို့သိသည်မဟုတ်လော။ ငါသည် ကောင်းကင်မှဆင်းသက်၏ဟု သူသည်အဘယ်သို့ဆိုရသနည်းဟု ကဲ့ရဲ့ပြစ်တင်လျက် ဆိုကြ၏။
