but it will be no more than the retribution of ( the evil ) that ye have wrought ; -
ትሠሩትም የነበራችሁትን እንጂ ሌላን አትመነዱም ፡ ፡

and he said unto them, exact no more than that which is appointed you.
ከታዘዘላችሁ አብልጣችሁ አትውሰዱ አላቸው።

« አንተም ብጤያችን ሰው እንጅ ሌላ አይደለህም ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከውሸታሞች ነህ ብለን እንጠረጥርሃለን ፡ ፡

it will be no more than a single blast , when lo ! they will all be brought up before us !
( እርሷ ) አንዲት ጩኸት እንጂ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ ወዲያውኑም እነርሱ እኛ ዘንድ የሚሰበሰቡ የሚቀርቡ ናቸው ፡ ፡

on that day when the hour will come to pass the wicked shall swear that they had stayed ( in the world ) no more than an hour . thus they used to be deceived in the life of the world .
ሰዓቲቱ በምትሆንበት ቀን ከሓዲዎች « ከአንዲት ሰዓት በስተቀር ( በመቃብር ) አልቆየንም » ብለው ይምላሉ ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ( ከእውነት ) ይመለሱ ነበሩ ፡ ፡

say : “ allah alone knows about that ; and i am no more than a plain warner . ”
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔ ግልጽ አስፈራሪ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለሁም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

it was no more than a single mighty blast , and behold ! they were ( like ashes ) quenched and silent .
( ቅጣታቸው ) አንዲት ጩኸት እንጂ ሌላ አልነበረችም ፡ ፡ ወዲያውኑም እነርሱ ጠፊዎች ኾኑ ፡ ፡

and admit them to paradise which he has made known to them ( i.e. they will know their places in paradise more than they used to know their houses in the world ) .
ገነትንም ያገባቸዋል ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱ አስታውቋታል ፡ ፡

but would you destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us ? this is no more than your trial : by it you cause whom you will to stray , and you lead whom you will to the right path .
ሙሳም ከሕዝቦቹ ውስጥ ለቀጠሮዋችን ሰባን ሰዎች መረጠ ፡ ፡ ብርቱ የምድር እንቅጥቃጤ በያዘቻቸውም ጊዜ ሙሳ አለ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በሻህ ኖሮ ከአሁን በፊት በአጠፋሃቸው ነበር ፡ ፡ እኔንም ( ባጠፋኸኝ ነበር ) ፡ ፡ ከእኛ ቂሎቹ በሠሩት ነገር ታጠፋናለህን እርሷ ( ፈተናይቱ ) ያንተ ፈተና እንጂ ሌላ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ በእርሷ የምትሻውን ታሳስታለህ ፡ ፡ የምትሻውንም ታቀናለህ ፡ ፡ አንተ ረዳታችን ነህና ለእኛ ምሕረት አድርግልን ፡ ፡ እዘንልንም ፡ ፡ አንተም ከመሓሪዎች ሁሉ በላጭ ነህ ፡ ፡ »

he was no more than a servant ( of ours ) , one upon whom we bestowed our favours and whom we made an example ( of our infinite power ) for the children of israel .
እርሱ በርሱ ላይ የለገስንለት ለእስራኤለም ልጆች ተዓምር ያደረግነው የኾነ ባሪያ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡

allah grants the provision to whomsoever he wills abundantly and grants others in strict measure . they exult in the life of the world , although compared with the hereafter , the life of the world is no more than temporary enjoyment .
አላህ ለሚሻው ሰው ሲሳይን ያሰፋል ፤ ያጠባልም ፡ ፡ ( ከሓዲዎች ) በቅርቢቱም ሕይወት ተደሰቱ ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት በመጨረሻይቱ አንጻር ( ትንሽ ) መጠቀሚያ እንጂ ምንም አይደለችም ፡ ፡

( but today they are oblivious of everything except enjoyment of worldly life . ) and on the day when he will muster all men together , they will feel as though they had been in the world no more than an hour of the day to get acquainted with one another .
( ከሓዲዎችን ) ከቀን አንዲትን ሰዓት እንጂ እንዳልቆዩ መስለው በመካከላቸው የሚተዋወቁ ሲሆኑ በምንሰበስባቸው ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ እነዚያ በአላህ መገናኘት ያስተባበሉት በእርግጥ ከሰሩ የተመሩም አልነበሩም ፡ ፡

do not touch the wealth of the orphan , except in the fairer manner until he reaches maturity . give just weight and full measure , we never charge a soul with more than it can bear .
« የየቲምንም ገንዘብ ብርታቱን ( አካለ መጠን ) እስኪደርስ ድረስ በዚያች እርሷ መልካም በኾነች ኹኔታ እንጅ አትቅረቡ ፡ ፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንንም በትክክሉ ሙሉ ፡ ፡ ነፍስን ችሎታዋን እንጂ አናስገድድም ፡ ፡ በተናገራችሁም ጊዜ በዘመዶቻችሁ ላይ ቢኾንም እንኳ ( እውነትን በመናገር ) አስተካክሉ ፡ ፡ በአላህም ቃል ኪዳን ሙሉ ፡ ፡ እነሆ ትገሰጹ ዘንድ በርሱ አዘዛችሁ ፡ ፡ »
