i can , therefore , assure you that in everything that we do we shall pay the highest regard to the interests of your state .
इसलिये मैं आपको यह आश्वासन दिला सकता हूं कि जो भी काम हम करेंगे उसमें हम आपके राज्य के हितों का अधिक से अधिक ध्यान रखेंगे ।

we shall pay those who desire the present life and its adornments in full for the work they have done therein , they shall not be defrauded ;
नेकी करने वालों में से जो शख़्श दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी और उसके रिज़क़ का तालिब हो तो हम उन्हें उनकी कारगुज़ारियों का बदला दुनिया ही में पूरा पूरा भर देते हैं और ये लोग दुनिया में घाटे में नहीं रहेगें

if the disbelievers persist in their disbelief , we shall also persist in punishing them .
या उन्होंने किसी बात का निश्चय कर लिया है ? अच्छा तो हमने भी निश्चय कर लिया है

a contract of guarantee is a conditional promise by the surety that if the principal debtor defaults he shall be liable to the creditor .
गांरटी की संविदा प्रतिभू द्वारा दिया गया सशर्त वचन है कि यही प्रधान ऋणी चूक करता है तो वह ऋणदाता के प्रति दायी होगा ।

that which ye have wasteth away , and that which allah hath remaineth . and verily we shall pay those who are steadfast a recompense in proportion to the best of what they used to do .
जो कुछ तुम्हारे पास है एक न एक दिन ख़त्म हो जाएगा और ख़ुदा के पास है वह हमेशा बाक़ी रहेगा और जिन लोगों ने दुनिया में सब्र किया था उनको उनके कामों का हम अच्छे से अच्छा अज्र व सवाब अता करेंगें

be not then in doubt as to what these men worship . they worship nothing but what their fathers worshipped before : but verily we shall pay them back their portion without abatement .
अतः जिनको ये पूज रहे है , उनके विषय में तुझे कोई संदेह न हो । ये तो बस उसी तरह पूजा किए जा रहे है , जिस तरह इससे पहले इनके बाप - दादा पूजा करते रहे हैं । हम तो इन्हें इनका हिस्सा बिना किसी कमी के पूरा - पूरा देनेवाले हैं

whosoever desires the life of the world and its glitter ; to them we shall pay in full their deeds therein , and they will have no diminution therein .
जो व्यक्ति सांसारिक जीवन और उसकी शोभा का इच्छुक हो तो ऐसे लोगों को उनके कर्मों का पूरा - पूरा बदला हम यहीं दे देते है और इसमें उनका कोई हक़ नहीं मारा जाता

if the two of us together seek shelter in truth , we shall form a society stronger than which nothing can be found anywhere .
हम दोनों मिलकर अगर सच्चाई का आसरा लें ते हमारे समाज के बराबर बड़ा समाज और कहाँ मिलेगा ?

but whosoever of you is obedient to god and his messenger , and does righteousness , we shall pay her her wage twice over ; we have prepared for her a generous provision .
और तुममें से जो खुदा और उसके रसूल की ताबेदारी अच्छे काम करेगी उसको हम उसका सवाब भी दोहरा अता करेगें और हमने उसके लिए इज्ज़त की रोज़ी तैयार कर रखी है

if the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.
यदि चुराया हुआ बैल, वा गदहा, वा भेड़ वा बकरी उसके हाथ में जीवित पाई जाए, तो वह उसका दूना भर दे।।

here is another verse , in which the poet by employing slesha , describes the king as superior to indra : if the poets describe you as equal to mahendra , we shall not prevent them .
एक और श्लोक प्रस्तुत है जहाँ कवि श्लेष का प्रयोग करते हुए राजा को इन्द्र से श्रेष्ठ बतलाता हैः कवि आपको महेन्द्र के तुल्य बतलाते रहें , हम उन्हें रोकेंने नहीं ।

if the hypocrites and those who have tainted hearts and the scandal mongers of madinah do not desist , we shall surely give you authority over them and their days in that city will be numbered .
ऐ रसूल मुनाफेक़ीन और वह लोग जिनके दिलों में मर्ज़ है और जो लोग मदीने में बुरी ख़बरें उड़ाया करते हैं - अगर ये लोग बाज़ न आएंगें तो हम तुम ही को उन पर मुसल्लत कर देगें फिर वह तुम्हारे पड़ोस में चन्द रोज़ों के सिवा ठहरने न पाएँगे

so o listener , do not fall into doubt by what these disbelievers worship ; they only worship just as their forefathers worshipped before ; and indeed we shall pay them their due in full , undiminished .
ये वह बख़्शिस है जो कभी मनक़तआ न होगी तो ये लोग जिसकी परसतिश करते हैं तुम उससे शक़ में न पड़ना ये लोग तो बस वैसी इबादत करते हैं जैसी उनसे पहले उनके बाप दादा करते थे और हम ज़रुर उनको पूरा पूरा हिस्सा बग़ैर कम किए देगें

if the hypocrites and perverts , and the rumour - mongers of madinah , do not desist even now , we shall rouse you against them , so they would not be able to live but a short time in the city with you .
ऐ रसूल मुनाफेक़ीन और वह लोग जिनके दिलों में मर्ज़ है और जो लोग मदीने में बुरी ख़बरें उड़ाया करते हैं - अगर ये लोग बाज़ न आएंगें तो हम तुम ही को उन पर मुसल्लत कर देगें फिर वह तुम्हारे पड़ोस में चन्द रोज़ों के सिवा ठहरने न पाएँगे

if the hypocrites , those whose hearts are sick and those who encourage the spread of evil in the city , will not desist , we shall arouse you against them and they will only be allowed to be your neighbors for a short while .
ऐ रसूल मुनाफेक़ीन और वह लोग जिनके दिलों में मर्ज़ है और जो लोग मदीने में बुरी ख़बरें उड़ाया करते हैं - अगर ये लोग बाज़ न आएंगें तो हम तुम ही को उन पर मुसल्लत कर देगें फिर वह तुम्हारे पड़ोस में चन्द रोज़ों के सिवा ठहरने न पाएँगे

"if a man delivers to his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it is stolen out of the man's house; if the thief is found, he shall pay double.
यदि कोई दूसरे को रूपए वा सामग्री की धरोहर धरे, और वह उसके घर से चुराई जाए, तो यदि चोर पकड़ा जाए, तो दूना उसी को भर देना पड़ेगा।

and when it is said to them , “ follow what allah has sent down” , they say , “ on the contrary , we shall only follow that upon which we found our forefathers” ; even if the devil was calling them to the punishment of hell ?
और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि जो ख़ुदा ने नाज़िल की है उसकी पैरवी करो तो कहते हैं कि नहीं हम तो उसी जिस पर हमने अपने बाप दादाओं को पाया भला अगरचे शैतान उनके बाप दादाओं को जहन्नुम के अज़ाब की तरफ बुलाता रहा हो
