and he taketh with him peter and james and john, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
yewwi yid-es buṭrus, yeɛqub akk-d yuḥenna. yetḥeyyeṛ, tekcem-it tugdi.

and if i by beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
ma yella nekk s balzabul i ten-ssufuɣeɣ, anwa ihi i sen-ițțaken tazmert i yinelmaden-nwen iwakken a ten-ssuffuɣen ? daymi d nutni ara kkun-iḥasben.

and i, brethren, if i yet preach circumcision, why do i yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
lemmer mazal nehhuɣ ar tura ɣef ṭṭhaṛa, iwacu i yi-mazal țwaqehṛeɣ ? tili lexbaṛ i nețbecciṛ ɣef lmasiḥ ițwasemmṛen ɣef wumidag, ur yețțili d ugur ula i yiwen.

and if i go and prepare a place for you, i will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where i am, there ye may be also.
m'ara wen-heggiɣ amkan, a d uɣaleɣ a kkun-awiɣ yid-i akken anda lliɣ aț-țilim ula d kunwi.

llant daɣen tilawin-nni meṛṛa i t-ittabaɛen, i s-iqeddcen mi gella di tmurt n jlili akk-d waṭas n tilawin nniḍen i d-yeddan yid-es ɣer temdint n lquds.

for do i now persuade men, or god? or do i seek to please men? for if i yet pleased men, i should not be the servant of christ.
ihi tura, eɛni d lemziya n yemdanen i țnadiɣ ? xaṭi ! d lemziya n sidi ṛebbi i țnadiɣ. neɣ eɛni țnadiɣ ad ɛeǧbeɣ i yemdanen ? lemmer i mazal țnadiɣ ad ɛeǧbeɣ i yemdanen, tili ur țțilliɣ ara d aqeddac n lmasiḥ.

meɛna nutni rnan ɛeggḍen : enɣ-it ! enɣ-it ! semmeṛ-it ɣef wumidag ! bilaṭus yenna-yasen : amek ! ad semmṛeɣ agellid nwen ? lecyux n wat isṛail rran-as : d qayṣer i d agellid-nneɣ, ur nesɛi ara agellid nniḍen.
