nay, but the record of the vile is in sijjin -

hell, in which they will burn. how vile a resting place!
그곳은 지옥이라 그들이 그 곳에 이르니 그들이 있을 곳은 저 주받은 침상으로

wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
어 찌 하 여 우 리 를 짐 승 으 로 여 기 며 부 정 하 게 보 느 냐

and approach not adultery; verily it is ever an abomination and vile as a pathway.
간통하지 말라 실로 그것은 부끄럽고 죄악으로 가는 길이라

and i will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock.
내 가 또 가 증 하 고 더 러 운 것 을 네 위 에 던 져 능 욕 하 여 너 로 구 경 거 리 가 되 게 하 리

as abiders therein. and vile will load! them on the day of judgment as a load!
그들은 부활의 그날까지 무거운 짐을 지고 살 것이라

allah hath gotten ready for them a torment grievous; verily vile is that which they have been working.
하나님은 그들을 위하여 무 서운 응벌을 준비하셨나니 실로 그들이 행한 모든 것에 저주가 있 으리라

they did not restrain one another from the wicked things they used to do; and vile were the things that they were doing!
그들은 그들이 저지른 사악 을 단념치 아니하니 그들이 저지 른 것에 저주가 있으리라

and thou shalt see many of them hastening toward sin and transgression and their devouring of the forbidden. vile indeed is that which they have been doing!
그들 가운데 대다수가 서둘 러 죄를 낳고 중오하며 금기된 것을 삼키니 그들이 저지른 모든 것에 분명 저주가 있으리라

wherefore is it that the divines and priests forbid them not of their speaking of sin and their devouring of the forbidden? vile indeed is that which they have been performing!
유대인의 성직자들이나 학자들은 그들 백성이 죄를 낳고 금기된 것을 삼키는 것에 대해 금지도않고 있으니 그들이 저지른 모든 것에 분명 저주가 있으리라

(instead of this,) they began to follow that (magic) to which the devils falsely attributed (the greatness of) the kingdom of solomon. in fact solomon was never involved in any practice of disbelief, but the satans, who taught magic to the people were themselves guilty of disbelief. they were after that thing which was sent to harut and marut, the two angels at babylon. whenever these two angels taught black art to anyone, they would always give a clear warning beforehand, saying, "we are merely a trial for you; so you should not commit blasphemy. but in spite of this warning, those people used to learn from the angels the art which caused division between husband and wife. although it was obvious that they could not do any harm to anyone by means of this magic without allah's permission, yet they learnt that art which could not be profitable even for them but was actually harmful. moreover, they knew it full well that anyone, who purchased that art, would have no share in the hereafter. what a vile commodity it was for which they sold off their souls, if they had but known it!
그들은 사탄들이 솔로몬 왕의 권능에 대항하여 허위 진술한 것을 따랐노라 솔로몬은 이를 불 신하였으나 사탄들은 거역하며 백 성들에게 요술과 또 바벨왕국 시 절의 하루트와 마루트 두 천사에 게 내려졌던 것 같은 것을 가르 쳤으나 천사들은 어느 누구에게도그것을 가르치지 아니하고 말하길우리는 단지 시험에 들었으니 하 나님의 인도를 불신하지 말라 이 들로부터 백성들은 남자와 아내를구별하는 불화의 요소를 배웠으나하나님의 허락 없이는 그들은 어 느 누구도 해치지 못하노라 그리 고 그들은 해치는 것과 그들에게 유용하지 않는 것도 배웠노라 유 대인들은 요술을 선택한 자들이 내세에서 행복을 가질 수 없다는 것도 배웠노라 그들의 영혼을 팔 아버린 그들위에 저주가 있다는 것을 그들은 알고 있으리라
