تو کیا تم نے حا جیوں کی سبیل اور مسجد حرام کی خدمت اس کے برابر ٹھہرا لی جو اللہ اور قیامت پر ایمان لایا اور اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیا، وہ اللہ کے نزدیک برابر نہیں، اور اللہ ظالموں کو راہ نہیں دیتا

is someone who pursues god's approval the same as someone who incurs god's wrath and his refuge is hell—the miserable destination?
آیا وہ شخص جو الله کی رضا کا تابع ہے اس کے برابر ہو سکتا ہے جو غضب الہیٰ کا مستحق ہوا اور اس کا ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہے اور کیسی وہ بری جگہ ہے

تو کیا تم نے حا جیوں کی سبیل اور مسجد حرام کی خدمت اس کے برابر ٹھہرا لی جو اللہ اور قیامت پر ایمان لایا اور اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیا، وہ اللہ کے نزدیک برابر نہیں، اور اللہ ظالموں کو راہ نہیں دیتا

can he who will have to shield himself against the torment of the day of resurrection (be the same as one at peace)? the evil-doers will be told: "so taste what you earned."
اب اُس شخص کی بد حالی کا تم کیا اندازہ کر سکتے ہو جو قیامت کے روز عذاب کی سخت مار اپنے منہ پر لے گا؟ ایسے ظالموں سے تو کہہ دیا جائے گا کہ اب چکھو مزہ اُس کمائی کا جو تم کرتے رہے تھے
