beholdest thou not how allah hath propounded the similitude of the clean word?
hebu hukuona vipi mwenyezi mungu alivyo piga mfano wa neno zuri?

but the clean provision bestowed upon you by your lord is better and more enduring.
na riziki ya mola wako mlezi ni bora na inadumu zaidi.

in it are men who love to cleanse themselves: and allah approveth the clean.
humo wamo watu wanao penda kujitakasa. na mwenyezi mungu anawapenda wanao jitakasa.

say thou: who hath forbidden the adornment which allah hath produced for his servants and the clean things of food?
sema: ni nani aliye harimisha pambo la mwenyezi mungu alilo watolea waja wake, na vilivyo vizuri katika riziki.

and we overshadowed you with clouds and we sent down unto you the manna and the quails, saying: eat of the clean things, wherewith we have provided you.
na tukakutilieni kivuli kwa mawingu na tukakuteremshieni manna na salwa; tukakwambieni: kuleni vitu vizuri hivi tulivyo kuruzukuni.

and we shaded them with thick clouds, and we sent down upon them the manna and the quails, saying: eat of the clean things wherewith we have provided you.
na tukawafunika kivuli kwa mawingu, na tukawateremshia manna na salwa. tukawaambia: kuleni vizuri hivi tulivyo kuruzukuni.

but if you are sick or traveling, or, if when you have just relieved yourselves or had intercourse with women and you cannot find water, touch the clean surface of the earth and rub your hands and faces with it.
na mkiwa wagonjwa au mmo safarini, au mmoja wenu ametoka chooni au mmewagusa wanawake, na hamkupata maji, basi tayamamuni vumbi lilio safi, na mpake nyuso zenu na mikono yenu.

wherefore because of the wrongdoing on the part of those who are judaised we forbade unto them the clean things that had been allowed unto them, and also because of their keeping away many from allah's way;
basi kwa dhulma yao mayahudi tuliwaharimishia vitu vizuri walivyo halalishiwa. na kwa sababu ya kuwazuilia kwao watu wengi na njia ya mwenyezi mungu,

and we caused thick clouds to provide them shade, and we sent down upon them manna and quails, saying: 'eat of the clean things that we have provided you.'
na tukawafunika kivuli kwa mawingu, na tukawateremshia manna na salwa. tukawaambia: kuleni vizuri hivi tulivyo kuruzukuni.

saying: eat of the clean things wherewith we have provided you, and wax not exorbitant in respect thereof, lest my wrath alight on you; and upon whomsoever my wrath alighteth, he surely perisheth.
kuleni katika vitu vizuri hivyo tulivyo kuruzukuni, wala msiruke mipaka katika hayo, isije ikakushukieni ghadhabu yangu. na inaye mshukia ghadhabu yangu basi huyo ameangamia.

he makes the clean things lawful to them and prohibits all corrupt things, and removes from them their burdens and the shackles that were upon them. so those who believe in him and assist him, and succour him and follow the light which has been sent down with him, it is they who shall prosper.
basi wale walio muamini yeye, na wakamhishimu, na wakamsaidia, na wakaifuata nuru iliyo teremshwa pamoja naye - hao ndio wenye kufanikiwa.

(remember that) we caused the cloud to overshadow you and provided you with manna and salva for your food, saying, "eat of the clean and pure things we have bestowed upon you" (in spite of this, your forefathers violated our commands:) however, they did not harm us but harmed only themselves.
na tukakutilieni kivuli kwa mawingu na tukakuteremshieni manna na salwa; tukakwambieni: kuleni vitu vizuri hivi tulivyo kuruzukuni. nao hawakutudhulumu sisi lakini walikuwa wanajidhulumu nafsi zao.
