and every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
nomntu wonke owevayo la mazwi am, angawenzi, wofanekiswa nendoda esisiyatha, yona yayakhelayo entlabathini indlu yayo.

for i testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, god shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
kuba ndiyangqina kubantu bonke abawevayo amazwi esiprofeto sale ncwadi, ukuba, xa athe umntu wongeza kwezo zinto, uthixo uya kongeza kuye izibetho ezibhaliweyo kule ncwadi;

and the spirit and the bride say, come. and let him that heareth say, come. and let him that is athirst come. and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
umoya nomtshakazi bathi, yiza. lowo uvayo makathi, yiza. lowo unxaniweyo makeze; lowo uthandayo, makawathabathe amanzi obomi ngesisa.

and in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the lord; for that he heareth your murmurings against the lord: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?
kusasa niya kububona ubuqaqawuli bukayehova, ekubeni ekuvile ukumkrokrela kwenu uyehova. thina besingoobani na ukuba nisikrokrele?

but he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
lowo ke uhlwayelwe kuwo umhlaba omhle, ngulo ulivayo ilizwi aliqonde; othi yena okunene axakathe iziqhamo; omnye ke enze ikhulu, omnye amashumi amathandathu, nomnye amashumi amathathu.

and it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, i shall have peace, though i walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
kuthi, ekuweveni kwakhe amazwi esi sishwabulo, azisikelele entliziyweni yakhe, esithi, ndoba noxolo; ngokuba ndihamba ebungqoleni bentliziyo yam, ukuze kuphetshethwe osele wahlutha kwanonxaniweyo.
