and the foremost are the foremost,

அவர்கள் புரிந்த செயல்கள் இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும் (பலனற்றவையாக) அழிந்து விட்டன. இன்னும் அவர்களுக்கு உதவியாளர்கள் எவருமிலர்.
the deeds of such people are made devoid of all virtue in both this life and the life to come. there will be no one to help them.

எனவே, நிராகரிப்போரை இவ்வுலகிலும், மறுமையிலும் கடினமான வேதனையைக்கொண்டு வேதனை செய்வேன்;. அவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்வோர் எவரும் இருக்க மாட்டார்கள்.
"as to those who disbelieve, i will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the hereafter, and they will have no helpers."

அவர்களுக்கு இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையிலும், மறுமையிலும் நன்மாராயமுண்டு; அல்லாஹ்வின் வாக்கு(றுதி)களில் எவ்வித மாற்றமுமில்லை - இதுவெ மகத்தான பொரும் வெற்றி ஆகம்.
for them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world (i.e. righteous dream seen by the person himself or shown to others), and in the hereafter. no change can there be in the words of allah, this is indeed the supreme success.

யார் இம்மையில் (நேர்வழியடையாக்) குருடனாக இருக்கிறானோ அவன் மறுமையிலும் (நற்பேற்றைக் காணாக்) குருடன்தான்; இன்னும், அவன் நேர்வழியில் மிகவும் தவறியவனாவான்.
and whoever is blind in this [life] will be blind in the hereafter and more astray in way.

"நம்முடைய வசனங்களை நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டு, (மறுமையிலும்) நான் நிச்சயமாக, செல்வமும், பிள்ளையும் கொடுக்கப்படுவேன்" என்று கூறினானே அவனை (நபியே!) நீர் பார்த்தீரா?
have you not regarded him who defies our signs, and says, ‘i will surely be given wealth and children’?
