lisaks kõnealuse standardi sätetele ei võeta muude kui m1-kategooria sõidukite puhul sõiduki laiuse mõõtmisel arvesse järgmisi seadmeid: tolliplommimisvarustus ja selle kaitsmed;tendi kinnitamise varustus ja selle kaitsmed;rehvide purunemise kontrollseadmed;porikaitsesüsteemi väljaulatuvad painduvad osad;valgustusseadmed;busside puhul töökorras rambid, tõstmisplatvormid ja muud sarnased seadmed; need ei tohi sõiduki külggabariidist ulatuda kaugemale kui 10 mm ja astmete nurgad peavad olema ette- või tahapoole ümardatud vähemalt 5 mm raadiusega; servad peavad olema ümardatud vähemalt 2,5 mm raadiusega;kaudse nähtavuse seadmed;rehvirõhu näidikud;sissetõmbuv trepp;rehvikülgede läbipaine vahetult maaga kokkupuutumise punkti kohal.
