you will see and they will also see
تو اب کوئی دم جاتا ہے کہ تم بھی دیکھ لو گے اور وہ بھی دیکھ لیں گے

they will not believe in it, though they have before them the example of former peoples,
(مگر) وہ اس (ذکر) پر ایمان نہیں لاتے اور جو پہلے گزر چکے ہیں ان کا طریقہ بھی یہی رہ چکا ہے۔

they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose,
اور (جنّتی خدمت گزار) پھل (اور میوے) لے کر (بھی پھر رہے ہوں گے) جنہیں وہ (مقرّبین) پسند کریں گے،

they will also say, "had we listened or used our minds, we would not have become the dwellers of hell".
اور وہ کہیں گے "کاش ہم سنتے یا سمجھتے تو آج اِس بھڑکتی ہوئی آگ کے سزا واروں میں نہ شامل ہوتے"

and the evil of their earnings coiled upon them. the harmdoers among these will also be coiled by the evils of their earnings, they will be unable to defeat it.
ان پر ان کے اعمال کے وبال پڑ گئے۔ اور جو لوگ ان میں سے ظلم کرتے رہے ہیں ان پر ان کے عملوں کے وبال عنقریب پڑیں گے۔ اور وہ (خدا کو) عاجز نہیں کرسکتے

there will be a veil between them. and on the elevations will be certain men who recognize each of them by their mark. they will call out to the inhabitants of paradise, ‘peace be to you!’ (they will not have entered it, though they would be eager to do so.
ان دونوں (یعنی بہشت اور دوزخ) کے درمیان (اعراف نام) ایک دیوار ہو گی اور اعراف پر کچھ آدمی ہوں گے جو سب کو ان کی صورتوں سے پہچان لیں گے۔ تو وہ اہل بہشت کو پکار کر کہیں گے کہ تم پر سلامتی ہو۔ یہ لوگ بھی بہشت میں داخل تو نہیں ہوں گے مگر امید رکھتے ہوں گے

(then allah will also ask them): 'o assembly of jinn and men! did there not come to y ou messengers from among yourselves, relating to you my signs, and warning you of the encounter of this your day (of judgement)?' they will say: 'yes, we bear witness against ourselves.' they have been deluded by the life of this world, and they will bear witness against themselves that they had disbelieved.
(اس موقع پر اللہ ان سے پوچھے گا کہ) "اے گروہ جن وانس، کیا تمہارے پاس خود تم ہی میں سے وہ پیغمبر نہیں آئے تھے جو تم کو میری آیات سناتے اور اِس دن کے انجام سے ڈراتے تھے؟" وہ کہیں گے "ہاں، ہم اپنے خلاف خود گواہی دیتے ہیں" آج دنیا کی زندگی نے اِن لوگوں کو دھوکے میں ڈال رکھا ہے، مگر اُس وقت وہ خود اپنے خلاف گواہی دیں گے کہ وہ کافر تھے
