they ask: 'when will this promise come, if you speak truthfully'
(کافر) پوچھتے ہیں کہ وه وعده کب ﻇاہر ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو (تو بتاؤ؟)

this, our record, will speak about you truthfully. we had everything you did recorded in it.
ہمارا یہ نوشتہ تم پر حق بولتا ہے، ہم لکھتے رہے تھے جو تم نے کیا،

we will recite to thee something of the tiding of moses and pharaoh truthfully, for a people who believe.
(اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) ہم آپ پر موسٰی (علیہ السلام) اور فرعون کے حقیقت پر مبنی حال میں سے ان لوگوں کے لئے کچھ پڑھ کر سناتے ہیں جو ایمان رکھتے ہیں،

say, “our lord will bring us all together, and then judge truthfully between us; and he is the best judge, the all knowing.”
آپ کہیے (ایک دن) ہمارا پروردگار ہم سب کو جمع کرے گا پھر ہمارے درمیان حق کے ساتھ فیصلہ کرے گا اور وہ بڑا فیصلہ کرنے والا (حاکم اور) بڑا جاننے والا ہے۔

say, “the holy spirit has brought it down from your lord, truthfully, in order to stabilize those who believe, and as guidance and good news for those who submit.”
آپ کہہ دیجیے کہ اس (قرآن) کو تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے روح القدس نے حق کے ساتھ اتارا ہے تاکہ ایمان لانے والوں کو ثابت قدم رکھے اور اطاعت گزاروں کے لئے ہدایت اور نجات کی خوشخبری ثابت ہو۔

allah has purchased from the believers their selves and possessions, and for them is paradise. they fight in the way of allah, slay, and are slain. that is a binding promise upon him in the torah, the gospel and the koran; and who is there that more truthfully fulfills his covenant than allah? therefore, rejoice in the bargain you have bargained with him. that is the mighty winning.
بلاشبہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے مسلمانوں سے ان کی جانوں کو اور ان کے مالوں کو اس بات کے عوض میں خرید لیا ہے کہ ان کو جنت ملے گی۔ وه لوگ اللہ کی راه میں لڑتے ہیں جس میں قتل کرتے ہیں اور قتل کیے جاتے ہیں، اس پر سچا وعده کیا گیا ہے تورات میں اور انجیل میں اور قرآن میں اور اللہ سے زیاده اپنے عہد کو کون پورا کرنے واﻻ ہے، تو تم لوگ اپنی اس بیع پر جس کا تم نے معاملہ ٹھہرایا ہے خوشی مناؤ، اور یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے
