then bring your book, if ye say sooth.
ئاده‌ی: کوا کتێبتان، کوا به‌ڵگه‌تان ئه‌گه‌ر ئێوه ڕاست ده‌که‌ن بیهێننه مه‌یدان.

cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth?
ئه‌و ڕوحه‌تان ده‌گێڕایه‌وه ئه‌گه‌ر ڕاست ده‌که‌ن و ده‌سه‌ڵاتتان هه‌یه‌

let them bring a discourse like thereunto, if they say sooth.
(ده‌ی که‌واته‌خۆ ئه‌وانیش قسه‌زان و لێزانن) ده‌با فه‌رمایشتێکی ئاوا وه‌ک ئه‌م قورئانه‌بهێنن ئه‌گه‌ر ڕاست ده‌که‌ن؟!

and they say: when cometh this promise, if ye say sooth?
(بێباوه‌ڕان) ده‌ڵێن: کوا، که‌ی ئه‌و به‌ڵێنه پێش دێت؟ که‌ی ڕۆژی قیامه‌ت به‌رپا ده‌بێت؟! ئه‌گه‌ر ئێوه ڕاست ده‌که‌ن!

and we have brought unto thee the truth, and verily we say sooth.
ئه‌مڕۆ ئیتر بۆ به‌رپاکردنی ئه‌و ڕاستیه هاتووین و بێگومان ڕاستیش ده‌ڵێین...

and they say: when will this promise be fufilled if ye say sooth?
خوانه‌ناسان ده‌ڵێن: که‌ی ئه‌م به‌ڵێنه پێش دێت ئه‌گه‌ر ئێوه ڕاست ده‌که‌ن؟

and they say: when is this promise to be fulfilled if ye say sooth?
(بێ‎بڕواکان) ده‌ڵێن: (باشه‌) که‌ی ئه‌م به‌ڵێنه (قیامه‌ت و زیندوبونه‌وه‌) دێته دی ئه‌گه‌ر ئێوه ڕاست ده‌که‌ن.

nor is it the speech of a sooth- sayer. little are ye admonished.
گوفتاری فاڵچی و زێوانیش نیه‌، ئه‌وه بۆ زۆر که‌متان یاداوه‌ری وه‌رده‌گرن؟!

have they associate gods? then let them produce their associate gods if they say sooth!
ئایا ئه‌مانه شه‌ریك و هاوبه‌شیان هه‌یه له‌م بڕیاره‌دا، کوان؟ ده‌با بیانهێنن ئه‌گه‌ر ڕاست ده‌که‌ن؟

and they say: when we shall have become bones and fragments, shall we in sooth be raised as a new creation?
ئه‌وانه به سه‌رسامیه‌وه ده‌ڵێن: باشه ئه‌گه‌ر بووینه ئێسکی ڕزیوو پرتوکاو، ئه‌وه سه‌ر له نوێ زیندوو ده‌کرێینه‌‌وه‌؟!

lest ye should say: the scripture was revealed only to two sects before us, and we in sooth were unaware of what they read;
نه‌ک بڵێن: به‌ڕاستی کتێبی ئاسمانی هه‌ر بۆ دوو ده‌سته‌ی (گاورو جوو) پێش ئێمه دابه‌زێنراوه‌، له‌کاتێکدا بێگومان ئێمه له خوێندنه‌وه و لێکۆڵینه‌وه‌ی کتێبه‌کانیان بێ ئاگاین و نه‌خوێنده‌وارین...

this shall be their meed because they disbelieved in our signs and said when we have become bones and fragments, shall we in sooth be raised up a new creation!
ئه‌و دۆزه‌خه پاداشتیانه چونکه به‌ڕاستی ئه‌وانه بڕوایان به ئایه‌ت و فه‌رمانه‌کانی ئێمه نه‌بوو (له بوونه‌وه‌رو له قورئاندا) ده‌شیانوت: باشه‌، ئایا ئه‌گه‌ر ئێمه بووینه ئێسك و پڕتووکاین، ئایا ئێمه به‌ڕاستی جارێکی تر سه‌رله‌نوێ زیندوو ده‌کرێینه‌وه‌؟!

and he taught adam the names, all of them; thereafter he set them before the angles, and said declare unto me the names of those if ye say sooth.
(ئینجا ئاده‌می درووست كرد، ویستی توانایی و لێهاتووی بۆ فریشته‌كان ڕوون بكاته‌وه‌) ناوی هه‌رچی پێویستی ده‌وروبه‌ر هه‌یه فێری كرد، له‌وه‌ودوا به فریشته‌كانی ڕانواند و پێی فه‌رموون: ئاده‌ی ئێوه ناوی ئه‌و شتانه‌م پێ بڵێن ئه‌گه‌ر ڕاست ده‌كه‌ن و (توانای ئاوه‌دانكردنه‌وه‌ی زه‌ویتان هه‌یه‌؟).

then they hamstrung the she camel and disdained the commandment of their lord, and said: salih! bring upon us that wherewith thou hast threatened us if thou art in sooth of the sent ones.
یه‌کسه‌ر (چوون) وشتره‌که‌یان سه‌ربڕی و له فه‌رمانی په‌روه‌ردگاریان یاخی بوون و وتیان: ئه‌ی صاڵح ئه‌گه‌ر تۆ له پێغه‌مبه‌رانیت ئاده‌ی ئه‌و هه‌ڕه‌شانه‌ی که لێمان ده‌یکه‌یت بۆمان پێش بهێنه‌.

say they: he hath fabricated it! say thou: then bring ye a surah like thereunto, and call whomsoever ye can beside allah, if ye say sooth.
به‌ڵکو (له‌گه‌ڵ ئه‌و هه‌موو به‌ڵگانه‌دا) ئه‌وانه ده‌ڵێن که محمد (صلی الله علیه وسلم) قورئانی هه‌ڵبه‌ستووه‌، بڵێ: ده‌ئێوه‌ش سووره‌تێک وه‌ک سووره‌ته‌کانی داڕێژن و بیهێنن، داوا بکه‌ن له‌هه‌ر که‌سێکی تر که ده‌توانن جگه له‌خوا (که‌یارمه‌تیتان بدات) درێغی مه‌که‌ن ئه‌گه‌ر ڕاستگۆن.

or say they: he hath fabricated it? say thou: bring ye then ten surahs the like thereunto fabricated, and call whomsoever ye can beside allah, if ye say sooth.
به‌ڵکو (له‌گه‌ڵ ئه‌و هه‌موو به‌ڵگانه‌دا) ئه‌وانه ده‌ڵێن که محمد قورئانی هه‌ڵبه‌ستووه‌، پێیان بڵێ: جا ئێوه‌ش ده سووره‌تی هه‌ڵباستراو وێنه‌ی ئه‌م قورئانه بهێنن، هه‌ر که‌سیش له خوا گه‌وره به‌ده‌ر، ده‌توانن، بانگ بکه‌ن (بۆ هاوکاریتان په‌نای بۆ به‌رن) ئه‌گه‌ر ڕاست ده‌که‌ن.

every foods was allowable unto the children of isra'il, save that which isra'il had forbidden unto himself, ere the taurat was revealed. say thou: bring ye then the taurat and recite it, if ye say sooth.
هه‌رچی خۆراک هه‌یه بۆ نه‌وه‌ی ئیسرائیل حه‌ڵاڵ بوو مه‌گه‌ر ئه‌وه‌ی که یه‌عقوب خۆی له‌سه‌ر خۆی حه‌رام کردبوو پێش ناردنی ته‌ورات، پێیان بڵێ: ده ئێوه ته‌ورات بهێنن و بیخوێننه‌وه ئه‌گه‌ر ڕاستگۆن (دیاره‌که جوله‌که هه‌ر له خۆیانه‌وه ده‌مبازی ده‌که‌ن و قسه ڕێکده‌خه‌ن و شت حه‌رامده‌که‌ن).
