too glorious is your lord, the lord of power, for what they ascribe to him.
அவர்கள் வர்ணிப்பதை விட்டும், கண்ணியத்தின் இறைவனான உம்முடைய இறைவன் தூயவன்.

and they have chosen (other) gods beside allah that they may be a power for them.
(முஷ்ரிக்குகள்) தங்களுக்காக (அல்லாஹ்விடம் மன்றாடுவதற்கு) வல்லமையுடையவையென்று அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (வேறு) தெய்வங்களை எடுத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளார்கள்!

save those who repent ere ye have them in your power; for know that allah is forgiving, merciful.
நீங்கள் அவர்கள் மீது சக்தி பெறுமுன் திருந்திக் கொள்கிறார்களே அவர்களைத் தவிர, நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மன்னிப்பவனாகவும் கருணையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

all too glorious is he, lord of the heavens and the earth, the lord of all power, for what they ascribe to him
வானங்களுக்கும் பூமிக்கும் இறைவன்; அர்ஷுக்கும் இறைவன். (அத்தகைய இறைவன் அவனுக்கு சந்ததி உண்டென்று) அவர்கள் வர்ணிப்பதை விட்டும் மகா பரிசத்தமானவன்.

it is a day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that day will be allah's.
அந்நாளில் ஓர் அத்மா பிறிதோர் ஆத்மாவுக்கு எதுவும் செய்ய சக்தி பெறாது, அதிகாரம் முழுவதும் அன்று அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே.

he was no more than a servant (of ours), one upon whom we bestowed our favours and whom we made an example (of our infinite power) for the children of israel.
அவர் (ஈஸா நம்முடைய) அடியாரே அன்றி வேறில்லை அவருக்கு நாம் அருட்கொடையைச் சொரிந்து இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததியாருக்கு அவரை நல்லுதாரணமாக ஆக்கினோம்.

and when saul went forth with the soldiers, he said, "indeed, allah will be testing you with a river. so whoever drinks from it is not of me, and whoever does not taste it is indeed of me, excepting one who takes [from it] in the hollow of his hand." but they drank from it, except a [very] few of them. then when he had crossed it along with those who believed with him, they said, "there is no power for us today against goliath and his soldiers." but those who were certain that they would meet allah said, "how many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of allah. and allah is with the patient."
பின்னர், தாலூத் படைகளுடன் புறப்பட்ட போது அவர்; "நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களை (வழியில்) ஓர் ஆற்றைக் கொண்டு சோதிப்பான்; யார் அதிலிருந்து (நீர்) அருந்துகின்றாரோ அவர் என்னைச் சேர்ந்தவரல்லர்; தவிர, ஒரு சிறங்கைத் தண்ணீர் தவிர யார் அதில் நின்றும் (அதிகமாக) நீர் அருந்தவில்லையோ நிச்சயமாக அவர் என்னைச் சார்ந்தவர்" என்று கூறினார்; அவர்களில் ஒரு சிலரைத் தவிர (பெரும்பாலோர்) அதிலிருந்து (அதிகமாக நீர்) அருந்தினார்கள்;. பின்னர் தாலூத்தும், அவருடன் ஈமான் கொண்டோரும் ஆற்றைக் கடந்ததும், (ஒரு சிறங்கைக்கும் அதிகமாக நீர் அருந்தியோர்) "ஜாலூத்துடனும், அவன் படைகளுடனும் இன்று போர் செய்வதற்கு எங்களுக்கு வலுவில்லை" என்று கூறிவிட்டனர்; ஆனால், நாம் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வைச் சந்திப்போம் என்று உறுதி கொண்டிருந்தோர், "எத்தனையோ சிறு கூட்டத்தார்கள், பெருங் கூட்டத்தாரை அல்லாஹ்வின் (அருள் மிக்க) அனுமதி கொண்டு வென்றிருக்கின்றார்கள்;. மேலும் அல்லாஹ் பொறுமையாளர்களுடன் இருக்கின்றான்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
