have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley
நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு பள்ளத்தாக்கிலும் (பாதையிலும்) அலைந்து திரிவதை (நபியே!) நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா?

by thy life, in their intoxication they were wandering bewildered.
(நபியே!) உம் உயிர் மீது சத்தியமாக, நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் தம் மதிமயக்கத்தில் தட்டழிந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

by your life! they were blindly wandering on in their intoxication.
(நபியே!) உம் உயிர் மீது சத்தியமாக, நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் தம் மதிமயக்கத்தில் தட்டழிந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

god shall mock them, and shall lead them on blindly wandering in their insolence.
அல்லாஹ் இவர்களைப் பரிகசிக்கிறான். இன்னும் இவர்களின் வழிகேட்டிலேயே கபோதிகளாகத் தட்டழியும்படி விட்டு விடுகிறான்.

they said: "by allah! truly thou art in thine old wandering mind."
(அதற்கவர்கள்) "அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது சத்தியமாக! நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய பழைய தவறினாலேயே இருக்கின்றீர்கள்" என்று சொன்னார்கள்.

none can guide those whom allah leaves in error. he leaves them in their insolence, wandering blindly.
எவர்களை அல்லாஹ் தவறான வழியில் விட்டு விடுகிறானோ அவர்களை நேரான வழியில் செலுத்த எவராலும் முடியாது. அவன் அவர்களை தவறான வழியிலேயே தட்டழியுமாறு விட்டுவிடுகிறான்.

allah shall pay them back their mockery, and he leaves them alone in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.
அல்லாஹ் இவர்களைப் பரிகசிக்கிறான். இன்னும் இவர்களின் வழிகேட்டிலேயே கபோதிகளாகத் தட்டழியும்படி விட்டு விடுகிறான்.

and even if we gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.
ஆனால் அ(த்தகைய)வர்கள் மீது கிருபை கொண்டு, அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட துன்பத்தை நீக்கிவிடுவோமானால், அவர்கள் தட்டழிந்தவர்களாக தங்கள் வழிகேட்டிலேயே அவர்கள் நீடிக்கின்றனர்.

and if we have mercy upon them and remove the calamity which has befallen them, they would still stubbornly persist, wandering in their rebellion.
ஆனால் அ(த்தகைய)வர்கள் மீது கிருபை கொண்டு, அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட துன்பத்தை நீக்கிவிடுவோமானால், அவர்கள் தட்டழிந்தவர்களாக தங்கள் வழிகேட்டிலேயே அவர்கள் நீடிக்கின்றனர்.

and though we had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.
ஆனால் அ(த்தகைய)வர்கள் மீது கிருபை கொண்டு, அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட துன்பத்தை நீக்கிவிடுவோமானால், அவர்கள் தட்டழிந்தவர்களாக தங்கள் வழிகேட்டிலேயே அவர்கள் நீடிக்கின்றனர்.

and we will turn away their hearts and their eyes just as they refused to believe in it the first time. and we will leave them in their transgression, wandering blindly.
மேலும், நாம் அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களையும் அவர்களுடைய பார்வைகளையும் திருப்பிவிடுவோம் - அவர்கள் முதலில் இதை நம்பாமல் இருந்தது போலவே இன்னும் அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய வழி கேட்டிலேயே தட்டழிந்து திரியுமாறு அவர்களை நாம் விட்டுவிடுவோம்.

and we revert their hearts and their eyes – the way they had not believed the first time – and we leave them to keep wandering blindly in their rebellion.
மேலும், நாம் அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களையும் அவர்களுடைய பார்வைகளையும் திருப்பிவிடுவோம் - அவர்கள் முதலில் இதை நம்பாமல் இருந்தது போலவே இன்னும் அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய வழி கேட்டிலேயே தட்டழிந்து திரியுமாறு அவர்களை நாம் விட்டுவிடுவோம்.

and those among the wandering arabs who had an excuse came in order that permission might be granted them. and those who lied to allah and his messenger sat at home. a painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve.
கிராம வாசிகளில் சிலர் உம்மிடம் புகழ் சொல்லிக் கொண்டு, (போரில் கலந்து கொள்ளாமலிருக்கத்) தங்களுக்கு அனுமதி அளிக்கப்பட வேண்டுமென்று கேட்க வந்தனர்; இன்னும் அல்லாஹ்விடமும், அவன் தூதரிடமும் பொய்யுரைத்தவர்கள் (அனுமதி கேட்காமலே வீடுகளில்) உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டார்கள் - அவர்களில் நிராகரித்தவர்களை வெகு விரைவில் நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனை வந்தடையும்.

allah said: 'this land will now be forbidden to them for forty years and they will remain wandering about on the earth. do not grieve over the condition of these transgressing people.
(அதற்கு அல்லாஹ்) "அவ்வாறாயின் அது நாற்பது ஆண்டுகள் வரை அவர்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாகத் தடுக்கப்பட்டு விட்டது. (அது வரை) அவர்கள் பூமியில் தட்டழி(ந்து கெட்டலை)வார்கள்;. ஆகவே நீர் இத்தீய கூட்டத்தாரைப் பற்றிக் கவலை கொள்ள வேண்டாம்" என்று கூறினான்.
