and the word of the lord came to elijah the tishbite, saying,
ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် တိရှဘိမြို့သား ဧလိယသို့ ရောက်လာသည်ကား၊

and he said to them,
အျပာဇက္ကား

and he said unto them, that the son of man is lord also of the sabbath.
ထိုမှတပါး၊ လူသားသည် ဥပုသ်နေ့ကိုပင် အစိုးရသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and he said unto them, how is it that ye do not understand?
သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ သင်တို့သည် နားမလည်ဘဲ အဘယ်သို့ နေကြသနည်းဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and he said unto them, this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
ကိုယ်တော်ကလည်း၊ ဤခွက်ကား၊ ပဋိညာဉ်တရားသစ်နှင့်ဆိုင်၍၊ လူများအဘို့အလိုငှါ သွန်းသော ငါ၏ အသွေးဖြစ်၏။

and he said unto her, thy sins are forgiven.
ထိုမိန်းမအားလည်း၊ သင်သည် အပြစ်တို့နှင့် လွတ်လေပြီဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and he said, a certain man had two sons:
တဖန် မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ တစုံတယောက်သောသူ၌ သားနှစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။

and he said unto them, how say they that christ is david's son?
ယေရှုကလည်း၊ ခရစ်တော်သည် ဒါဝိဒ်၏သားဖြစ်သည်ဟု အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုကြသနည်း။

and he said to the woman, thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
ယေရှုသည် ထိုမိန်းမအားသင်၏ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် သင့်ကို ကယ်တင်ပြီ။ ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာသွားလောဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and he said unto him, son, thou art ever with me, and all that i have is thine.
အဘကလည်း၊ ငါ့သား၊ သင်သည် ငါ့ထံမှာ အစဉ်နေ၏။ ငါ၏ဥစ္စာရှိသမျှသည် သင်၏ဥစ္စာဖြစ်၏။

and he said likewise to him, be thou also over five cities.
သခင်က၊ သင်သည် မြို့ငါးမြို့ကိုအုပ်စိုးလော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and he said unto them, he that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
ကြားစရာ နားရှိသောသူမည်သည်ကား ကြားပါစေဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and he said unto the people, be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.
မောရှေကလည်း၊ သုံးရက်မြောက်သောနေ့၌ အသင့်ရှိစေကြလော့။ မယားကို မချဉ်းကြနှင့်ဟု လူတို့အား ဆိုလေ၏။

and he said unto me, unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
ယခင်ပြောသူက ရက်ပေါင်းနှစ်ထောင်သုံးရာ တိုင်တိုင် တည်လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုနောက် သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနကို တဖန်ဆေးကြောသုတ်သင်ကြလိမ့် မည်ဟုပြန်၍ ပြောဆို ၏။

and he said unto his sons, saddle me the ass. so they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,
မြည်းကို ကုန်းနှီးတင်ကြလော့ဟု ဆိုသည် အတိုင်း၊ သားတို့သည် မြည်းကိုကုန်းနှီးတင်၍ အဘသည် စီးသွားလျက်၊

and he said unto him, go in peace. so he departed from him a little way.
ဧလိရှဲက၊ ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာသွားလော့ဟု ဆို၏။ နေမန် သည် သွား၍ အဝေးသို့မရောက်မှီ၊

and he said unto him, man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
ကိုယ်တော်က အချင်းလူ၊ အဘယ်သူသည် သင်တို့အမှုကို စီရင်ခွဲဝေပိုင်သောအခွင့်ကို ငါ့အား အပ် ပေးသနည်းဟု မေးတော်မူ၏။

and he said unto him, arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
သင်ထ၍ သွားလော့။ သင်၏ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည် သင်၏အနာကိုငြိမ်းစေပြီဟု ထိုသူအား မိန့်တော် မူ၏။

and he knew it, and said, it is my son's coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.
ထိုအင်္ကျီကို အဘမှတ်မိ၍၊ ငါ့သား၏ အင်္ကျီ မှန်၏။ သူ့ကိုဆိုးသော သားရဲကိုက်စားပြီ။ အကယ်၍ ယောသပ်ကိုအပိုင်းပိုင်းကိုက်ဖြတ်ပါပြီတကားဟုဆိုလျက်၊

and he said unto them, why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
ကိုယ်တော်ကလည်း၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် အထူးထူးအထွေထွေသော စိတ်ရှိကြသနည်း။
