we created man out of the extract of clay ,
በእርግጥም ሰውን ከነጠረ ጭቃ ፈጠርነው ፡ ፡

carving comfortable houses out of the mountains ?
« ብልሆች ኾናችሁ ከጋራዎች ቤቶችንም ትጠርባላችሁ ፡ ፡

and god caused you to grow out of the earth ,
አላህም ከምድር ማብቀልን አበቀላችሁ ፡ ፡

and have sent down out of the rainclouds water cascading
ከአረገዙት ደመናዎችም ተንቧቢ ውሃን አወረድን ፡ ፡

allah has caused you to grow out of the earth ,
አላህም ከምድር ማብቀልን አበቀላችሁ ፡ ፡

they would carve secure houses out of the mountains .
ከኮረብታዎችም ቤቶችን ጸጥተኞች ኾነው ይጠርቡ ነበር ፡ ፡

nor speaks he out of caprice .
ከልብ ወለድም አይናገርም ፡ ፡

and you carve out of the mountains , homes , with skill .
« ብልሆች ኾናችሁ ከጋራዎች ቤቶችንም ትጠርባላችሁ ፡ ፡

god told him , " get out of the garden ; you are rejected
( አላህ ) አለው « ከርሷም ውጣ ፡ ፡ አንተ የተባረርክ እርጉም ነህና ፡ ፡ »

and allah has made you grow out of the earth as a growth :
አላህም ከምድር ማብቀልን አበቀላችሁ ፡ ፡

and allah has caused you to grow out of the earth so wondrously ,
አላህም ከምድር ማብቀልን አበቀላችሁ ፡ ፡

for it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of hell-fire :
እርሷ በገሀነም አዘቅት ውስጥ የምትወጣ ዛፍ ናት ፡ ፡

" indeed are we shut out ( of the fruits of our labour ) "
« በእርግጥም እኛ ( ከመጠቀም ) የተከለከልን ነን » ( ትሉ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

and dwellings hewed out of mountains ingeniously ?
« ብልሆች ኾናችሁ ከጋራዎች ቤቶችንም ትጠርባላችሁ ፡ ፡

" indeed we are shut out ( of the fruits of our labour ) ! "
« ይልቁንም እኛ የተከለከልን ነን » አሉ ፡ ፡

but an evil word is like an evil tree torn out of the earth ; it has no foothold .
የመጥፎም ቃል ምሳሌ ከምድር በላይ የተጎለሰሰች ለእርሷ ምንም መደላደል የሌላት እንደኾነች መጥፎ ዛፍ ነው ፡ ፡

he has created fire for you out of the green tree from which you can kindle other fires .
ያ ለእናንተ በእርጥብ ዛፍ እሳትን ያደረገላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ ወዲያውኑም እናንተ ከእርሱ ታቀጣጥላላችሁ ፡ ፡

ከአንተ ጋር መነጋገር አልፈልግም

an evil act is like a rotten tree torn out of the earth with no ( base or ) firmness .
