allah effaceth what he will, and establisheth (what he will), and with him is the source of ordinance.
اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ކޮންމެ ކަމެއް ފުހެލައްވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ކޮންމެކަމެއް ސާބިތުކުރައްވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި، މައިފޮތް (އެބަހީ: اللوح المحفوظ) ވެއެވެ.

now, if allah willed, he would seal thine heart. and allah abolisheth falsehood and establisheth truth by his words; verily he is the knower of that which is in the breasts.
ނުވަތަ އެކަލޭގެފާނު اللَّه އާމެދު އިތުރުފުޅެއް ހެއްދެވީކަމަށް އެއުރެން ބުނަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅުގައި ސިއްކަގައްސަވައިފީހެެވެ. އަދި اللَّه، باطل ފުއްސަވައި، އެކަލާނގެ كلمة ފުޅުތަކުން حق ސާބިތުކުރައްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލާނގެއީ، ހިތްތަކުގައި ވާހާކަންތައް މޮޅަށްދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

virtue is not in this that ye turn your faces toward the east and west, but virtue is of him who believeth in allah and the last day and the angels and the book and the prophets: and giveth of his substance, for love of him unto kindred and orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and the beggars and for redeeming necks, and establisheth prayer and giveth the poor-rate and is of the performers of their covenant when they have covenanted; and is of the patient in adversity and affliction and in time or violence these are they who are proven true, and these they are god-fearing.
ހެޔޮކަމަކީ (ހަމައެކަނި) އިރުމަތިފަރާތަށް ނުވަތަ ހުޅަނގުފަރާތަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މޫނުތައް ކުރިމަތި ކުރުމެއް ނޫނެވެ. އެހެނެއް ކަމަކު، ހެޔޮކަންކުރާ މީހާއީ، اللَّه އަށާއި آخرة ދުވަހަށާއި ملائكة ންނަށާއި ފޮތަށާއި ނަބިއްޔުންނަށް إيمان ވި މީހާއެވެ. އަދި މުދަލުގެ މައްޗަށް ލޯބިހުރުމާއެކުވެސް، ގާތްތިމާގެ މީހުންނަށާއި يتيم ންނަށާއި مسكين ންނަށާއި (حال ގައި ޖެހިިފައިވާ) ދަތުރުވެރިންނަށާއި އެހީޔަށްއެދި سؤال ކުރާ މީހުންނަށާއި އަޅުން މިނިވަންކުރުމުގައި މުދާ ހޭދަކުރި މީހާއެވެ. އަދި ނަމާދު قائم ކޮށް، زكاة ދީއުޅޭ މީހާއެވެ. އަދި عهد އެއް ކޮށްފިނަމަ އެއުރެންގެ عهد ފުއްދާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި ތަދުމަޑުކަމާއި ބަލިމަޑުކަމާއި ހަނގުރާމައިގެ ވަގުތުގައި ކެތްކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ. ތެދުވެރިވި މީހުންނަކީ، އެއުރެންނެވެ. އަދި تقوى ވެރިންނަކީވެސް ހަމަ އެއުރެންނެވެ.
